Hello Poppy!!


This is a cute little 4X4 card that I made for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!

Another bright and cheery card!!


After I stamped the Poppy onto the Stitched Shape Circle, I coloured it in with Stampin' Blends then I flicked some Basic Black Ink onto it! I love the "splattered" look!!

Black and White!

It's been a long time since I have designed a black and white card! They have such a "POP" factor to them and use limited supplies to make.

I really wanted the black to POP so I stamped the Palm trees and sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder. The flower is made using the Small Bloom Punch, free during Sale-a-bration with a $120.00 (Can) order!!
Isn't this card so Hawaiian looking!  Palm trees, a flower, a woven background and a pearl!!

Ink: VersaMark

Happy Day!

Sometimes we need some "Happy" mail to brighten our day! 
If you received a homemade card in the mail, wouldn't it make you smile to know that someone cared enough to make you a special card? I know I would!!

Here is my interpretation of the layout. It was a challenge! I usually make my cards with straight lines, so this was different for me, but I am very happy with the results!!

Celebrating You!!

I used the new Birthday Jubilee Bundle from the Occasions Mini 2020 to create this pretty card. 

It is so lacy and delicate! The die does all the work for you! Simply run it through a Die Cutting machine and that's it! I used Whisper White to cut out the lace, the Designer Series Paper in the background is Woven Threads with a Whisper White layer behind it attached to a Pretty Peacock card base. "Celebrating You" was stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink onto Whisper White c/s and cut out with a Stitched Shapes Circle. I finished it off with some Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon and some Rhinestones.

Simple Poppy Card

Super quick and easy poppy card!!
The card base is Poppy Parade Card Stock, it is such a vibrant colour!! 

I used a strip of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with a layer of Basic Black to frame it. I tied a bow with the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, the Die is from Painted Labels and the sentiment is from Timeless Tulips.

Snow Day!!! ❆ ❄ ❅ ❄

It's a snow day here today in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver! Most schools are closed, happy kids!!!

Here is a cheery card to brighten this cold ⛄ day!

I used the New Painted Poppies Stamp Set. I stamped the poppies using Memento Black Ink and coloured them in with Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Blends. I also did a light watercolour wash on the art layer with my Aqua Painter and Pool Party Ink. Very lightly and very little water as it is only Whisper White Card Stock and not watercolour paper. This is a fun fold card, the Poppy Parade is cut 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2, the one scored panel is folded back onto its self, then the front panel pieces (2 3/4 X 4 1/4, layer is 4 1/2 X 3) are attached only on the left hand side of the card using dimensionals. The sentiment is from Sending You Thoughts, a freebie from Sale-A-Bration!! I added a double White Bakers Twine bow on the end. The Designer Series Paper on the left side panel is Peaceful Poppies DSP, so pretty!!  

On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Sending You Thoughts and I also stamped another Poppy and coloured it in with my Blends.
