Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper

This is my card for the latest challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. Check out all the other amazing cards here:

Freshly made Sketches

The card base is Pretty Peacock with a panel of Crumb Cake embossed using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. The Designer Series Paper Panel is from Tropical Oasis, I love the old Woodies! I tucked a small piece of Pretty Peacock under the DSP layer then wrapped it with some Linen Thread. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays, stamped in Real Red and cut out using the Layering Circles Dies.

Black and White!

It's been a long time since I have designed a black and white card! They have such a "POP" factor to them and use limited supplies to make.

I really wanted the black to POP so I stamped the Palm trees and sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder. The flower is made using the Small Bloom Punch, free during Sale-a-bration with a $120.00 (Can) order!!
Isn't this card so Hawaiian looking!  Palm trees, a flower, a woven background and a pearl!!
