Timeless Arrangements Card

Hello and welcome to my Blog! I'm having lots of fun playing with some new products that will be released on May 2, 2023 in the new Stampin' Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. One of the products is the Timeless Arrangements Bundle. This stamp set has 26 stamps and 16 matching dies! My favorite thing about this set is it has soooo many sentiments! I can't show you the set yet, but I can show you a card I made!

I also used the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper. Currently it is on the retiring list and on sale for $11.55!! Great deal!!

Directions:

Cut a Thick Basic White Card Stock base to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Die cut a large Basic White C/S rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Die. Cut a 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" piece of the Pretty Prints DSP and attach it to the rectangle using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Attach this to the card base using Dimensionals. 

Add some adhesive to the center of the DSP and loop some of the Silver Cord back and forth. The adhesive should hold it into place. I use the Stampin' Seal or Tear And Tape. 

Die cut a Basic White C/S rectangle from the Timeless Arrangements Dies. Stamp the sentiment using Blackberry Bliss Ink.

Die cut some floral pieces using the Textured Shimmer Paper. Attach the rectangle sentiment piece over top of the floral pieces and attach over top of the Silver Cord using Dimensionals. 

Add some Metallic Pearls to finish it off.

For the inside I stamped a Blackberry Bliss flower and added a thin strip of the Pretty Prints DSP. I also stamped onto an envelope.

 Freshly Made Sketches Sweet Songbird Card

I had fun with this weeks sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!

This is the sketch challenge.

This is my interpretation of the sketch.

 I decided to use a few new colors that will be added to the Stampin' Up! Colors Collections May 2nd, 2023.

The card base is the new Azure Afternoon Card Stock and the bird and flowers are the Azure Afternoon Ink! It's such a  beautiful color!! I also used the new Pecan Pie Ink for the branch.

Directions:

Cut Azure Afternoon Card Stock to 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".

Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the New On-Line Exclusives Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this layer to the card base using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. (Shop the On-Line Exclusives in my store Here!)

Die cut 2 Basic White C/S circles using the Stylish Shapes Dies. One large circle and one medium circle.

On the larger circle, stamp the branch and the birds feet in Pecan Pie Ink and the leaves in Soft Sea Foam Ink.

On a separate piece of Basic White C/S, stamp the bird and wing in Azure Afternoon Ink. Stamp the beak in Daffodil Delight Ink and the eyes in Memento Black Ink. Punch out using the co-ordinating Bird Punch. 

Attach the bird body using Dimensionals to the larger circle over top of the legs. Attach the wing using a Dimensional. Attach this circle to the card front using Dimensionals. 

On the medium circle, stamp the branch in Pecan Pie Ink, the leaves in Soft Sea Foam Ink and the flowers in Azure Afternoon Ink. Add some Rhinestones. Attach this circle to the card front using multi-purpose Liquid Glue.

On a scrap on Basic White C/S, stamp the sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Attach to the card using Dimensionals.

Wrap some Linen Thread around the card 2X and tie into a bow.

 For the inside I stamped the branch, leaves, flowers and the sentiment using the same colors as the card front.

Don' forget to decorate the envelope too!

 Sea Turtle Tent Card

Aren't those little baby sea turtles just the cutest!! 

The Mint Macaron Color is retiring, so I needed to make one last card using it! 

Directions:

Cut the Mint Macaron Card Stock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".

The hinges that pop-up the art piece are Mint Macaron C/S cut to 2" x 2" and scored at 1", cut 2 of these. 

Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, attach the hinges on each side of the 2 1/8" score line with the opening of the hinge facing out. This creates a pop-out mechanism. 

Cut 2 pieces of the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper to 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" and attach it to the front of the card covering up the glued down hinge. Don't glue the pop-up hinge portion.

Cut a piece of Mint Macaron C/S to 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the new Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Attach using Dimensionals to the right hand side of the card on the inside. This creates a "stopper" for the card front to pop-up and stay open. 

Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 2 3/4" x 5 1/4". Stamp some of the little fish using Mint Macaron Ink along the bottom. Attach to the inside of the card using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

For the art panel, cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". 

Using the Sea Turtle Stamp Set that is a double sided set, stamp the turtle body in Mint Macaron Ink, stamped off one time for a lighter shade. Do this three times across the layer.

Flip the stamp over and using full strength Mint Macaron Ink, stamp the turtle detail over top of the body. 

Stamp the sentiment using Memento Black Ink and the Lighting The Way Stamp Set. I thought this was the perfect sentiment to go with this card!

Add some Iridescent Pearls. 

Attach this art panel using Dimensionals to a Mint Macaron C/S layer cut to 2 7/8" x 2 7/8".

Add some glue to both of the hinges and attach this panel to them. 

Try this fun fold for yourself and have fun!!

Remember that Mint Macaron and the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper are retiring!
