You Are The Best !!

As soon as I saw this weeks layout I knew exactly what stamp set I was going to use!! It's a Sneak Peak of a new  stamp set called  Tasteful Touches,  and it's being released on June 3, 2020. I knew the feathers were perfect for the challenge!!

The feathers are just so beautiful and detailed! This is a very simple card. I used a card base from the Assorted Memories and More Cards and Envelopes Pack. These bases are already cut and scored and come with matching envelopes. I stamped the feather 5 times using Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral and Pool Party Inks. I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock using Memento Black Ink and then used my Paper Snips to cut out each word separately. I attached the words to the card using Mini Dimensionals. To finish it off I added some Rhinestones.

This card came together very quickly!

I used Blueberry Bushel as my card base, 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2".
Add a panel measuring 4" X  51/4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock.
Emboss a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Blueberry Bushel using the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to WW panel, then to card base.
Wrap the Whisper White Baker's Twine 3X around and tie a bow onto the left side. I use my fingernail to curl the Twine, make sure to hold onto the knot!
Add the Memories And More Panel to a piece of Blueberry Bushel measuring 3 1/8" X 4 1/8", attach to the card using Dimensionals.
Stamp Happy Father's Day in Night Of Navy Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock and punch out using the Classic Label Punch. I used 2 mini Dimensionals on the right side and a Glue Dot on the left side to attach the sentiment to the card front. The stamp set, My Wonderful Family, is from the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. 

I made another card using a different Memories and More Card Panel from the Come Sail Away Card Pack. The only stamping I did on both cards was the sentiment. 

The Memories And More Card Kits are a great way to make cards! The images are excellent quality. Stampin' Up! releases a few different M&M Card Packs each Catalogue. There is always a stamp set to match to even further your creativity!! 
You can find this Card Pack on page 171 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. If you want this set, hurry, it retires on June 2, 2020!!

 Birthday Jubilee Scrappy Strips

I decided to try a technique called "Scrappy Strips" or "Paper Strips". It's a great way to use up all those leftover pieces of Designer Series Paper. I really enjoyed this technique!! So many different possibilities!! I used my all time favourite DSP, Magnolia Lane!! 

I used Basic Black Card Stock 5" X 3 3/4" as my panel to glue the strips onto. Use Multipurpose Glue so that the strips are well adhered. 
I cut my strips at 1/2" wide and 3 at 8" long. I started with the middle longest strip, leave a small gap between each strip. Then I added one more long strip on each side of the middle strip. Then continue adding strips 90 degrees from the first 3. You can use up your shorter strips for this part. The strips will hang over the edge, after you have finished trim away the excess. I embossed this panel using the Subtle Embossing Folder. I then glued this panel onto another piece of Basic Black Card Stock measuring 5 1/4" X 4"and attached it to my Petal Pink card base.
I stamped Happy Birthday onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and angle cut both ends. I stamped 3 flowers from the Birthday Jubilee stamp set, coloured them with Stampin' Blends, (Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow) and cut them out with my Paper Snips. The sentiment and flowers are attached using dimensional and finished off with some Rhinestones. I had a lot of fun making this card! Give it a try!!

"DAD"  Card For Freshly Made Sketches

My card base is Pear Pizzaz with a 4" X 5 1/4" panel of Pear Pizzaz that I embossed with the Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder. I then cut some strips of Country Club Designer Series Paper and one strip of Night Of Navy Card Stock, and attached them to the card following the sketch.  I die cut two pieces of "Rope" from the Smooth Sailing Die with Night Of Navy Card Stock and glued one to the horizontal piece of DSP. I partially punched out a piece of Whisper White C/S using the Everyday Label Punch. I die cut the letters, DAD from a retired set called Little Letters using Night Of Navy and attached them to the tag and then stapled the other piece of the Rope Die Cut behind the tag. It is attached to the card using dimensional.
