Tiny Christmas Ornament

Isn't this ornament adorable!!! I made it from the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Die and Mercury Glass Designer Acetate!! So fast and easy to make! You only need a piece of Card Stock or Designer Series Paper that is 6" X 6". No glue is required!!!

I added some Shaded Spruce greenery from the In The Woods Die and Cherry Cobbler Ribbon. I have made mine into an ornament using a battery operated tea light but it would also be a great gift box. It would hold small chocolates.

Supplies Used:

Card Stock: Shaded Spruce and Mercury Acetate
Dies: Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Die
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler 3/8" Diagonal Stripe Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Silver Cord for the hanger and a BATTERY operated tea light.

Happy Stamping and Creating!!

Fun Fold Stars

It's fun to change things up and do a "fun fold" card. This one is super simple as well.

Start with an 4 1/4" X 11" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, score it in half at 5 1/2". Cut off 2 3/4" from one end. This will be your front panel. It attaches to the card with dimensionals on the left side.
On the left side of the card I attached a piece of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, I die cut the Stitched Stars with Silver Glimmer Paper and also used the off cut stars for some added sparkle!! The sentient is from the stamp set So Many Stars, I stamped it in Balmy Blue ink.

For the inside I stamped some stars in Silver Delicate ink and the Merry Christmas from Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Balmy Blue. Just make sure your inside sentiment will be covered by your front panel.

Silver and blue Christmas cards are so pretty!!

Supplies Used:

Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Whisper White, Feels Like Frost DSP and Silver Glimmer Paper
Stamps: So Many Stars and Perfectly Plaid
Ink: Balmy Blue and Silver Delicata
Accessories: Stitched Stars Dies

Elegant Blueberry

Here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!!

https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

I seem to have forgotten about the 2018-2020 In-Colours, so I wanted to use one today for this challenge! I decided on the Blueberry Bushel. It's a vibrant and beautiful blue!!

I used the Feels Like Frost 6X6 Designer Series Paper for the background and also the silver layer behind the background. This DSP has gorgeous wintery scenes on one side and beautiful silver foil patterns on the reverse! So one set does double duty!! The flourish and sentiment are from stamp set Very Versailles. I finished it off with Silver Metallic Ribbon, Rhinestones and some Wink Of Stella!!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White and Feels Like Frost DSP
Ink: Blueberry Bushel and Night Of Navy for the sentiment
Stamps: Very Versailles
Accessories: Rectangle Stitched Dies, Stitched Nested Labels, Silver Metallic Ribbon, Rhinestones and Wink Of Stella

Joyful Christmas

Another Challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!

Check it out here:
https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

I love how vibrant this card is!! The Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Gold and Basic Black are so stunning together!!!
This card came together quickly with the help of the FMS challenge!
I first embossed the lower part of the Cherry Cobbler panel with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, it adds just a hint of movement and interest. The floral panel is the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper coloured with Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I die cut a few circles, off-set the Very Vanilla circle over the Basic Black circle, stamped my sentiment in Memento Black and again in Cherry Cobbler, trimming the word Christmas out and popping it up on top. The beautiful Gold Shimmer Ribbon is from the Christmastime Is Here Suite. I finished it off with a few Gold Metallic Pearls.

Supplies Used:
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black
Ink: Memento Ink and Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Beauty and Joy
Accessories: Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes, Layering Circles, metallic Pearls, Magnolia Lane DSP, Blends and Shimmer Gold Ribbon.

I started by Gold Embossing the flower image onto Whisper White Card Stock, then using Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow Inks, I stamped in the details. I added Daffodil Delight to the berries using my Stampin' Write Marker. I used the matching Roses Dies to cut out some detail accent pieces using Gold Foil Sheets. The Designer Series Paper, Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots, Gold Shimmer Ribbon and sentiment are also all from this Suite!!

Glass Ornament Card

I made this card for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!
Check it out here: https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

I used the beautiful Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set and coordinating Punches. I love using punches, it makes for quick and easy cards!!

I wanted my ornament to shine like the pretty glass baubles we hang on our Christmas Tree. So after I punched out my stamped ornament and coloured it, I also punched out one from a Window Sheet and using a smudge of Tombow glue I attached them together. Now my ornament looks like glass!! (Hard to capture in a photo)

The card base is Crumb Cake with a panel of Pretty Peacock. Emboss the Pretty Peacock using the Subtle Embossing Folder. Cut one square using the largest Stitched Square Die, emboss with Stylish Scroll and cut another slightly smaller square from the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper. Stamp the ornament in VersaMark and emboss with Silver Embossing Powder. Colour in with Balmy Blue and Light Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends. Punch out with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack and punch another one using a Window Sheet. I trimmed both pieces closer to the edge. Using only a teeny tiny amount of Tombow, glue the Window Sheet piece to the embossed ornament, trim Window Sheet down to match the ornament. Tie a little bow with the Copper Trim. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black using the Host Set, Greatest Part Of Christmas. (Love, love this set!!) Layer it onto a piece of Copper Foil.

Hope you enjoyed todays card! I'd love for you to comment!!

Glimmer and Glitz

I had so much fun designing this card!! It's an easy card with an elegant look!! My inspiration came from Jean Hall over on Facebook.

I first stamped the Holly image from the set Christmas Gleaming onto a piece of Window Sheet using Stazon Ink. Let this dry overnight or carefully heat set it with your Heat Tool. Colour on the opposite side from the stamped image using Real Red and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Add a few Glue Dots and attach this piece to some Sparkle Glimmer paper, then fussy cut it out.

My card base is Whisper White with another piece of Whisper White cut to 4" x 51/4", emboss using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. Attached the gorgeous Real Red Ruched Ribbon to the embossed panel. The sentiment is from the Christmas Rose set from the Christmastime Is Here Suite. I stamped it in Memento Black and used the die from the Roses set which is also part of the Christmastime Is Here Suite. I also cut out 1 more of the die shapes in Silver Glimmer Paper, cut it in half and off-set it behind the Whisper White sentiment piece. I like how it's just showing slightly. I finished the card off with a few Rhinestones for added sparkle!!!

Hope you enjoyed todays Sparkly card!!

Poppy Parade Christmas

Poppy Parade is such a vibrant colour and I love using it for Christmas cards!!

For this creation I used the limited time release set, Christmastime Is Coming!
I stamped the rose image in VersaMark Ink and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder, cut it out using the coordinating Dies. Using my aqua painter I coloured in the images with diluted Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow.

Here is a close-up of the berries. I first coloured them in with my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write marker, then I added Shimmery Crystal Effects then I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on top for some super sparkle!!!

The card base is Basic Black with an embossed panel of Poppy Parade using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder. The gorgeous Gold Shimmer Ribbon is part of the Christmastime Is Coming Suite.
I finished off the card with a sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas stamped in Memento Black Ink.

Supplies Used:
Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White and Poppy Parade
Ink: VersaMark, Memento Black, Poppy Parade, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede
Stamps: Christmastime Is Coming and Itty Bitty Christmas
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds, Gold Embossing Powder, Aqua Painter, Christmastime Is Coming Dies, Shimmer Gold Ribbon and Shimmery Crystal Effects.
