Gilded Leafing Floral Card

Gilded Leafing Floral Card

This card is very ornate! I did have fun playing with the Gilded Leafing. My cards tend to be more simple, so this is for me, a very detailed design! I think I like it......LOL!

Directions:

I started with a card base of Basic Black Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".

Cut another piece of Basic Black C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.

Using your VersaMark Ink Pad, gently rub some ink over the embossed surface. Then sprinkle with the Heat And Stick Powder and tap off excess. Heat set until the powder turns clear. Then rub on some Gilded Leafing. I use a stiff paint brush to pick up and move my leafing around and gently rub off the excess. Attach this panel to the card base using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Fussy cut some flowers out of the True Love Designer Series Paper. You can even use partial flowers, once they are tucked behind the other full flowers you can't tell. Colour the flowers and leaves using Stampin' Blends. I used; Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather and Misty Moonlight. Attach flowers to the card base. I used Dimensionals on some and Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue on others.

Die cut a small detailed butterfly from Brilliant Wings Dies using Gorgeous Grape C/S. Attach to the card using Glue Dots. Add 3 Rhinestones and a gold bow from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo.

I also sprinkled on some Wink Of Stella for even more sparkle!

I hope you enjoyed todays card. Click on any of the supply list photos for shopping. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Happy Stamping and Creating!

Brilliant Wings Card

 Brilliant Wings Card

This is my card for the challenge over at

Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the True Love Designer Series Paper. This DSP is black and white. I used my Stampin' Blends to add lots of Spring colour to the paper!

I started with a card base of Smoky Slate Card Stock, 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".

Cut a piece of Basic Black C/S to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

Cut a piece of Pretty Peacock C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Attach the Pretty Peacock C/S to the Basic Black C/S using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a piece of True Love Designer Series Paper to 4" x 2". Colour using these Stampin' Blends combos; Calypso Coral, Pretty Peacock, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sea Foam, and Petal Pink. Attach it to the Pretty Peacock.

Using a Calypso Coral Dark Stampin' Blends, colour some White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. Wrap it around the panel and tie into a bow.

Attach the panel to the card base using Dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment and die cut out using the Many Messages Bundle, attach to the card using Dimensionals. Add a Rhinestone to each end of the tag.

Die cut 3 butterflies using the Brilliant Wings Die and Shimmery White Card Stock. Attach them to the card front using Glue Dots.

A list of all the supplies I have used is below. Click on any of the supply photos and you will be taken to my on-line shop.

Blog Hop

 Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our first Canada Inks Up! Blog Hop!

The list of participants is at the end of my post, have fun hopping around and seeing all the talent from our team!

For my card today, I brought out my Stampin' Blends again.

Directions:

Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Cut another piece of Basic Black C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and embossing using the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to the card front using Multi-purpose Glue.

Fussy cut some flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper and colour them with Stampin' Blends. The colours I used are: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Highland Heather and Misty Moonlight. Sprinkle some Wink Of Stella onto the flowers.

Using VersaMark Ink and your fingertip, ink up the center of the flowers. Sprinkle on some Heat And Stick Powder and Heat set until shiny with your Heat Tool. Be careful not to over heat it, it turns shiny very quickly. Using a stiff brush or your fingers, pick up some Gilded Leafing and apply to the flower centres. Gently wipe off excess.

Attach flowers to the card front. Some of mine are glued down with Multi-purpose Glue and some are attached using Dimensionals.

I tied a double bow with the Gold Thread from the Forever Greenery Ribbon Pack and stuck it down with a Glue Dot.

I hope you have enjoyed todays card and our first Blog Hop!
