Whimsical Christmas Trees

Whimsical Christmas Trees

I have seen so many amazing cards designed with the Whimsical Trees Bundle. I took some inspiration from some of these cards to design this card. This was also one of the cards we made at our October Card Club.

Directions:

I started with a card base of Misty Moonlight Card Stock, cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".

I attached a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" layer of Blushing Bride Card Stock to the card base.

Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S. Stamp a few trees on this layer using Misty Moonlight and Blushing Bride Inks. I spaced them apart so the die cut tree sits in between them. Then emboss this layer using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this layer to the card base.

Die cut a large Blushing Bride C/S tree using the Christmas Trees Dies, then emboss it using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.

Die cut the "garland" for the large tree using Silver Foil and the ornaments using Misty Moonlight C/S. Attach them to the tree using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Attach this tree to the card front using Dimensionals.

Fussy cut 3 gifts from the Whimsy and Wonder Designer Series Paper. Tuck 2 of them slightly under the tree and one on top of the other beside the tree.

Stamp the sentiment from Stars Are Shining in Misty Moonlight Ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White C/S. Angle cut both ends and attach using 2 Dimensionals on the right side and 1 Dimensional on the left side where it sits on the tree.

Add some Rhinestones to finish it off.

Reflected In Nature

 Reflected In Nature

This is such an easy card to put together and so pretty!

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Real Red Card Stock scored at 5 1/2" for the card base.

Using Real Red Ink, stamp the stars from the Stars Are Shining Stamp Set on a diagonal from the top left to the bottom right.

I stamped the log cabin image from the Reflected In Nature Stamp Set using Night Of Navy Ink onto a piece of Basic White C/S then I trimmed it down to 2 7/8" x 2 6/8". Attach this panel to a 3" x 2 13/16" piece of Basic White C/S. Then using Dimensionals, attach this panel to a 3" x 3 1/8" piece of Night Of Navy C/S. Attach this panel to the card front. Add some Wink Of Stella to the water and snow.

I stamped the sentiment using Night Of Navy Ink onto a piece of Basic White C/S. (This sentiment is retired, any sentiment would work) Flag cut the right end and attach a tiny piece of Silver Foil to the left side. Attach to the card front.

Punch out a star using the Starlit Punch and Silver Foil. Attach to the card using a Dimensional. That's it! Pretty simple!

Happy Stamping and Creating!!

Christmas Treat Boxes

Christmas Treat Boxes

I have been having so much fun making these treat boxes! When I was assembling one of the boxes the other day I had a revaluation. If you don't tuck in the side flaps but instead use a glue dot and let the sides flare out you get a totally different shaped and sized box!!! Who knew!!

Here are some photos to show you what I came up with.

Isn't that cool!!

Here are my creations!!!

I have fit a roll of Lifesavers, Excel Mints and a regular sized box of Tic-Tac's in these boxes. You could also fit money, lotto tickets, chocolates, gift cards, hand sanitizer, small ornament, lip chap, jewelry and so much more!!

Think of all the possibilities! Use different card Stocks, Designer Series Papers, embellishments, Ribbons!

Happy Stamping and Creating!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Stay safe everyone.
