Beaded Poinsettia

I missed last weeks  Freshly Made Sketches  challenge so I made sure not to miss this weeks! I love this unique layout. Try it for yourself.

 

Look how vibrant the Poppy Parade Card Stock is!!!

I used the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set. It is being released on November 3! 

The card base is Poppy Parade Card Stock cut to 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". The Whisper White panel is 4" x 5 1/4". I cut 2 triangles from the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper, one is larger than the other. I just played around with these pieces until I liked the sizing. Attach to card front using Multi-Purpose Glue. Stamp the sentiment using Poppy Parade Ink. Die cut 1 medium Poinsettia and 3 mini Poinsettias. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals and Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Die cut 2 sprigs in Basic Black C/S using the Poinsettias Dies. Tuck and glue under the Poinsettias. Attach a Beaded pearl using a Glue Dot. Very simple card and soooo many possibilities!!!

I joined Freshly Made Sketches again this week. This challenge was something really different. It's a "Slimline" card. I have never made one of these so it was fun to do something different.

Freshly Made Sketches

I started with a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, 8 1/2"x7" and scored at 3 1/2".

I punched out the following circles:

 2 1/4" in Basic Black C/S X2

 2 1/4" in Gold Foil X1

 2" in Whisper White C/S X2

 2" in Whisper White

Stamp leaves and greenery onto the 2 Whisper White C/S circles using the following inks: Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. Attach to the Basic Black circles. Add to card front using Dimensionals. *See card for placement*

Stamp 2 pieces of greenery using Pretty Peacock and Highland Heather Inks on a scrap of Whisper White C/S and die cut them out. Glue them to the Basic Black C/S circle. Attach off-set to the Gold Foil circle. Attach to middle of card front using Dimensionals. Add 3 Rhinestones. Stamp the sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Cut out and attach using Dimensionals.

Honey Bee Bundle

I am so sad that this bundle is retiring, I have used it so many times!! If you want it, don't waste any time! Get it before it's gone forever!!

This is my entry for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Pool Party Card Stock Base and added a layer of Whisper White Card Stock. Using my Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, I flicked some ink onto the Whisper White Panel along with some Wink Of Stella. It's subtle, but it's there! I stamped the Hive in Pool Party directly onto my WW panel then again on scrap paper and Die cut that one out. The Hive is then attached with Dimensionals. I die cut the Bee in Gold Foil and used Glue Dots to attach it to the Hive. The sentiment is from Aprils Paper Pumpkin Kit. I stamped it onto a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock using Black Memento Ink, it is also attached using Dimensional. 

Everyday when we walk our dog around the block we pass this gorgeous Cherry Tree full of beautiful blooms, if you stop for a moment, right underneath the tree, you can hear the buzzing of all the bees that are enjoying this tree. It makes my heart happy.
