 Snail Mail For Freshly Made Sketches

I had so much fun playing with the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper for this weeks challenge at Freshly Made Sketches!

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Bermuda Bay Card Stock, scored at 5 1/2".  I added a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay C/S embossed using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder to the card front. Then I simply added 2 banners across the card, fussy cut a snail from the Designer Series Paper, covered the snail with Wink Of Stella, stamped "Hello" and then I added a few Resin Hearts. That's it!! Isn't he the cutest little snail!!

This is the layout sketch I had to follow.








Here is my card!

I think this is the first time I have ever used Mango Melody Card Stock!! I love it paired with the Bermuda Bay Card Stock!!! Bright and happy!!

The card base is Bermuda Bay. I die cut 2 pieces of the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and adhered to the card. I then die cut out "Happy" and "Birthday" in Mango Melody using the Well Written Dies and again in black fun foam to give the words some "lift"! Using black fun foam also creates a nice shadow effect. Glue to the card using Multipurpose Glue.

I punched out a Mango Melody Balloon with the Balloon Bouquet Punch, added some Whisper White Bakers Twine to the back using a Glue Dot and attached it to the card with a few Dimensionals. 

Simple and no stamping!!
