 Dragonflies Thinking Of You Card

Todays card features a few new items from the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. This catalogue starts on May 3rd, 2022. I will list all the NEW items below for you.

The focal point of this card is the stunning "Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper"! It is gorgeous!!

Directions:

I started with a card base using the new 2022-2024 In-color Orchid Oasis. It is cut to 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".

Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock to 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" and a piece of Basic White C/S to 3" x 5" and a piece of the new "Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper" to 2 3/4" x 4 3/4". Glue all 3 together using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Then emboss these glued layers using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Attach them to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of Basic White C/S. Add a small border of Flirty Flamingo C/S that shows underneath the sentiment strip.

Loop some of the Gold Simply Elegant trim, attach it to the card front then attach the sentiment strip over top using Dimensionals.

Punch out 4 small dragonflies using the Dragonflies Punch and Gold Glimmer Paper or Rose and Gold Metallic Paper. Attach 3 of them to the card front using Dimensionals.

For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4". 

I stamped the sentiment using the Limited Edition Stamp Set and Orchid Oasis Ink and then over top I stamped a floral image using Flirty Flamingo Ink and the Honeybee Home Stamp Set. Add another small dragonfly. I love this sentiment, "A Paper Hug From Me". Perfect for a paper crafter to send to someone!

I also decorated the envelopes using the same floral image and the Orchid Oasis Ink.
