(New Post) Fun Fold Pop-Up Pocket Card

Pop-Up Pocket Card and Free Shipping Today!

I saw this great fun fold over at Julie Davison's Blog and I just loved it! Check out her post and video here. Thanks for the inspiration Julie! I think I have made about 8 of these so far and we made it in our April Card Club Class! So easy and very
addicting!

While some of the items I have used have retired, use what you have on hand! Make it your own.

Directions:

Cut the Sweet Sorbet Card Stock base to 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2" and 7 1/2".

Rub the inside of the base with some wax paper so everything will move smoothly.

On the smaller section of the base, add Tear And Tape Adhesive to just the 2 side edges, fold up to create the pocket.

Cut the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper down to 4" x 6", then put the 2" x 6" piece aside to use for the envelope. With the remaining piece of DSP, cut it to 1 3/4" x 4" and 3 1/4" x 4". You should only have a small piece remaining.

Attach the 1 3/4" x 4" piece to the bottom section of the base and the 3 1/4" x 4" piece to the top section of the base.

Cut a piece of Thick Basic White Card Stock to 3 1/2" x 7" and score at 1/2" and 5". Fold and Burnish well as shown in the photo below. Rub the back of this layer with the wax paper.

Stamp on the pop-up portion. Stamp the image and/or sentiment up fairly high so it shows up when the card flap pops up.

Add adhesive to the front of the small 1/2" scored section.

Tuck the Basic White C/S pop up panel inside the card base pocket as shown in the photo below. Line up the edge of the pop up panel to the score line on the card base, center it, then close the card. This will attach the pop up to the base exactly where you want it! Easy peasy!

Now you can decorate the card front!

I die cut a large Balmy Blue C/S flag using the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Die cut a medium sized Basic White circle from the Stylish Shapes Die.

Punch out a Vellum Decorative Circle. Attach over top of the Balmy Blue C/S flag.

Stamp some flowers onto the circle using Balmy Blue Ink, I stamped off 1 time for a softer look. Then I stamp the sentiment over top of the flowers using Night Of Navy Ink. Attach this circle using Dimensionals over top of the Vellum.

Tie some Balmy Blue Ribbon around the bottom section and tie into a knot. Add a charm or embellishment. I had some leftover charms from the past so I used up some of those. I used Linen Thread to attach the charm.

For the inside pocket, I added a tea bag. You could also use a gift card, cash, small package of candy, package of flat embellishments, chewing gum, pack of stickers or a little note.....so many possibilities!

Here are some more!

Have fun with this Pop-Up Pocket Card! Use up some of that Designer Series Paper you might have laying around. If you are anything like me, you have lots!!!! Cut into it, use it, enjoy it!

(New Post) Fun Fold And Happy Easter!

Fun Fold Card And Happy Easter!

Lola and I would like to wish everyone, two legged and four legged a very Happy Easter!

Todays card is a super easy fun fold! I used Designer Series Paper so that both sides of our beautiful papers can be seen!

Directions:

Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper to 5 1/2" x 11".

Score with the long side at the top at 1 /34", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" and 7". Fold and score as seen in the photo.

The small folding insert is Designer Series Paper cut to 3" x 6" and scored at 3".

Attach the small insert by adding adhesive to the left side only and attaching it to the front as shown in the photo. Then close up the card folds and glue the other side of the insert to the inside folds, adding glue to only the right side.

Cut a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of Basic White Card Stock and stamp the floral image in Memento Black Ink. Color in with Stampin' Blends. Stamp the sentiment using Pool Party Ink. Attach this panel using Dimensionals to the front of the insert.

For the inside I cut a 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" piece of basic White C/S.

That's all.....pretty simple, right!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping and Creating!

(New Post) Exploding Fun Fold card

 Exploding Fun Fold Card

This fun fold is so easy to make. I saw this easy fun fold on Tammy Beard's Stampin' Savvy Blog. See her post Here. Thanks for the inspiration Tammy!

We made this card at my March Card Club! If you live in the Delta BC area come by and join us! We have a lot of fun!

This is my card. It opens up to reveal a fun surprise inside!!

Card Front Directions:

Cut a piece of Polished Pink Card Stock to 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 4 1/4" and 5 1/2". Burnish on the score lines.

Seal the spine portion of the card closed.

Cut the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper to: 1" x 4" for the spine portion and 4" x 4" for the other front portion. Attach both pieces to the card.

Cut a piece of the White Frayed Ribbon, flag cut both ends and attach to the card front.

Die cut a Basic White C/S label using the Sentimental Park Dies.

Stamp Happy Birthday using Night Of Navy Ink. Attach the label over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

Die cut a Basic White C/S floral stem, cut off the end and glue tucked a bit under the label.

Die cut a 2022-2024 In-Color 6X6 Glimmer Paper butterfly, attach using a Dimensional.

Add some 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds to the floral die.

Inside Directions:

I used a 6X6 piece of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the card front DSP.

Fold the DSP in half, burnish, open up and fold in half in the other direction, burnish. Then open it up and fold on the diagonal. The diagonal fold is only done one time. Pushing in on the diagonal folds, manipulate the DSP until it folds inwards.

Lay this DSP inside the card with the opening of the DSP facing out. Center it so that it is fully inside the card on all sides. It just fits!

Glue the 2 unfolded squares to the card. Start with one side first, add glue, close the card, then open it and glue the opposite side. Now when you open the card the DSP pops out!

Cut 2 pieces of Basic White C/S to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Stamp sentiment, flower, stem and border stamp using Night Of Navy, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Inks.

*Tip: stamp on the diagonal!

Cut 2 piece of Balmy Blue C/S cut to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". Attach the Basic White C/S squares to the Balmy Blue C/S squares and attach inside the card. Add an Opal Round to the flower center.

I hope you have enjoyed todays Fun Fold Card! I enjoy sharing with you and I hope I have inspired you!

Happy Stamping and Creating!
