(New Post) Freshly Made Sketches Sea Turtle Card

Freshly Made Sketches Sea Turtle Card

It's time again for a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!

Here is the layout for this week.

This is my interpretation of the layout.

The card base is Tahitian Tide C/S, cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".

The layers are Starry Sky C/S, 4" x 5 1/4" and the art panel is    Basic White C/S, 3 3/4" x 5".

I simply used a Blending Brush to add some Pool Party Ink in  circles and then I stamped the sea turtles over top using Pool Party Ink and Orchid Oasis Ink. The Sea Turtle Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! is a double sided set. One side is the solid turtle and the other side is the detailed turtle.

I stamped some fish using Balmy Blue Ink stamped off once for a lighter shade.

I stamped a Calypso Coral starfish and cut it out and used a Glue Dot to add it on top of some Basic White Bakers Twine that is wrapped around the layers 2 x and tied into a bow.

I splattered some Wink Of Stella over top of the adorable sea turtles.

For the inside I cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped some fish in Balmy Blue Ink, full strength and stamped off once.

I then stamped the detailed sea turtle in Orchid Oasis Ink.

I didn't add any sentiments. That way if I need a particular card I can add a sentiment then. Or just leave off a sentiment and write a nice message inside. 😊

Be sure to check out all the other great cards from the other participants HERE!  So much talent all in one place!!! Anyone can join the weekly challenges!!!

Happy Stamping and Creating!
