Sea Glass Card For Freshly Made Sketches
We just came back from another wonderful trip visiting my parents in beautiful Sointula B.C.
One of our favourite things to do while we are there is to collect "beach glass". It's so peaceful walking along the many beaches collecting all the pieces of beach glass. When we find blue, purple or red we are so excited as those are rare pieces to find!
I decided to incorporate some of the green pieces we found into a card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
I used the Flowers Of Friendship Stamp Set and Memento Black Ink to stamp the flowers onto Basic White Card Stock. I coloured the flowers using Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends and some Wink Of Stella overtop of the petals. Using a good Epoxy glue attach the sea glass pieces to the leaves.
Cut a Basic White C/S circle, stamp the sentiment and add some Rhinestones. Attach it to the card front.
The card base is Pale Papaya C/S cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
I left the card fairly simple so that the sea glass can be the star of the card!

Here are some photos from Sointula.

Happy Stamping and Creating!
