On The Horizon CASE Card
What does CASE mean? It means "copy and share everything". I saw this beautiful card in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue on page 42 and I just had to CASE it! Whenever you are feeling like your mojo has taken a break, look through our catalogues for inspiration!
Directions:
Cut a piece of Soft Succulent Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4" for your card base.
Cut a piece of the New Horizons Designer Series Paper to 5" x 3 3/4" and attach it to your card base using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.
Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".
Stamp your sentiment onto the bottom using Memento Black Ink.
Sponge some Pale Papaya Ink lightly onto the top portion of this layer using the Blending Brushes.
Stamp the foliage across this layer a few times using Crumb Cake Ink and about half of the way down. I did some stamping full strength and some I stamped off first onto scrap paper then onto this layer for a lighter look.
Emboss this layer using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.
Attach some of the Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon just below the foliage.
Die cut the rectangle piece using the Horizon Dies and the New Horizons Designer Series Paper. Stamp some foliage onto this piece using Crumb Cake Ink then attach overtop of the ribbon using Dimensionals.
Die cut a fence using the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Attach to the card using Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using a section of the New Horizons DSP that is green and grass like, die cut the grass. Attach to the bottom section of the fence. Attach this layer to the card using Dimensionals.
Add some beautiful Pebble Enamel Shapes to finish off the card! They are definitely the star of this card!!
For the inside I cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 5 1/4" x 4". I stamped some foliage onto the bottom using Crumb Cake Ink and some birds at the top using Memento Black Ink.
I hope I have inspired you today!
Happy Stamping and Creating!
Arlene
