Red Velvet Christmas Card

 Red Velvet Christmas Card

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly Card Club. The Red Velvet Paper is so easy to use and perfect for a Christmas card!

For this card I decided to use a unique size, the Basic White card base is 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 3 1/4".

Cut a 3" x 5 1/4" piece of Red Velvet Paper and emboss it using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. I used the snowflakes folder. Attach the Red Velvet Paper to the card base.

Die cut 2 snowflakes panels using Basic White Card Stock and the Giving Gifts Dies. I cut mine so the borders are very thin. Trim off a tiny bit from each end of the die cute so that they only slightly overlap at the middle of the card. Overlap only enough so that the sentiment strip will hide the overlap. Use Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to attach the 2 snowflake die cuts to the Red Velvet Paper.

Cut a thin strip of Basic White C/S, stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Flag cut one end then attach to the card front using Dimensionals. I used a sentiment from the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Peaceful Christmas. Add a red and 2 clear Wonderful Gems to the card front. Tie a small bow using the Black And White Gingham Ribbon and attach using a Glue Dot.

Happy Stamping and Creating!!
