Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper
I just love the adorable critters featured on the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper! The best part is that this paper is FREE with a $60.00 order!
There is a matching stamp set, Penguin Place with a coordinating punch, Penguin Builder Punch, but I don't have it so I decided to use the DSP to create my card.
Cut a piece of Basic White Card Stock and a piece of the Penguin Place Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut both pieces on the diagonal. This will be enough for 2 cards.
*Tip: When cutting the DSP, watch for any patterns that have a direction to them.
(I embossed the Basic White triangle. After I realized it is a retired folder. Lots of our embossing folder would work, Evergreen Forest, Wintery 3D or Star Crossed Embossing Folders.)
Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue attach both of the triangles to the card front.
Die cut 2 trees from the Christmas Trees Dies in Misty Moonlight. Glue to the cards.
Fussy cut 3 critters from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. Using glue and/or Dimensionals, attach them to the cards.
I used my printer to print out the sentiment. I needed a few "Across The Miles" cards and I didn't have any stamps that said that. Attach to the cards using Dimensionals.
I added some Subtle Shimmer Sequins to one of the cards to finish it off. Have fun making some of your own critter cards!!
Happy Stamping and Creating!
