(New Post) Happy Easter Card

 Happy Easter Card

Here is a simple but adorable Easter card using the Bunny Punch! This punch will be available again mid May.

While that is too late for Easter, it's a great punch to have for baby cards!

I had to use the Fresh Freesia Card Stock as purple is my favorite colour and it's retiring soon!!

Directions:

Cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Fresh Freesia Card Stock and score it at 4 1/4" for your card base.

Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S and emboss it using the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this layer to the card base.

Cut a 2" x 5" piece of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper. Flag cut one end and attach to the layer using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Die cut a Basic White C/S Circle using the Layering Dies or Stylish Shapes Dies. Attach to the card base using Dimensionals.

Punch out a bunny using the same Designer Series Paper as your flagged strip. Attach the bunny to the Basic White C/S circle using Dimensionals.

Stamp the floral sprig using Memento Black Ink onto Basic White C/S. Color using Fresh Freesia and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends. Fussy cut out and attach to the bunny using Dimensionals.

Die cut a Basic White C/S tag from the Waves Dies. Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Change the sentiment for a baby card, thank you card, birthday card etc! Feed some Fresh Freesia Ribbon through one of the tag holes and tie into a bow. Attach this label to the card front using Dimensionals.

Add some Rhinestones to finish off the card.

For the inside I simply stamped a bunny using Fresh Freesia Ink.

Happy Stamping and Creating!

(New Post) Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

 Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #577

Here is this weeks challenge over at Freshly made Sketches! Check out all the other great designs  HERE!

Here is my Easter Bunny card for the challenge. I'm just so in love with this adorable bunny!

Directions:
Cut a piece of Thick Basic White Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".
Cut another piece of Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4".

Cut a piece of the Country Gingham 6X6 Designer Series Paper to 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" and attach to the Basic White C/S layer. Attach this layer to the card base.

Die cut the following using the Layering Circles:
One 2" Basic White Circle
Two 1 5/8" Basic White Circles
Two 1 3/4" Sweet Sorbet Scalloped Circles

Stamp the bunny in Memento Black Ink onto the 2" circle.

Stamp the flowers 2X onto one of the 1 5/8" circles also using Memento Black Ink and another time onto a piece of scrap Basic White C/S. The extra one will be fussy cut for the headband.

Stamp the sentiment using Sweet Sorbet Ink on the last circle. *Tip, for the Happy Easter sentiment, I stamped the "Happy" first, cleaned off the stamp very well, then stamped the "Easter" below the Happy. This made it so the words fit into the circle.

Using Stampin' Blends, color the bunny and flowers. I used Soft Sea Foam, Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink and Balmy Blue.

Attach the 2 smaller circles to the Sweet Sorbet Scalloped Circles using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Attach the bunny circle to the center of the DSP strip using Dimensionals. Fussy cut the extra floral sprig and attach it to the bunnys head using a Mini Dimensional.

Attach the other 2 circles using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, tucking them slightly under the bunny circle.

Add some 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Dots to finish off the card.

I hope you enjoy todays card!
Happy Stamping and Creating!
