Adorable Owl Baby Cards!

I have just recently realized that many of you have not been receiving my Blog Post updates. I apologize for this technical glitch and I hope I have corrected it! Now, onto the cards!

I had so much fun designing these baby cards using the Adorable Owls Stamp Set. It is one of the free offerings from Sale-a-bration 2023.

I made one for a baby girl and one for a baby boy. The Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper did all the work! The Dandy Designs DSP is also a free offering during Sale-a-bration 2023! I have used this DSP so many times! A favourite for sure!

Directions:

Cut a card base using Balmy Blue or Petal Pink Card Stock. One of my bases was 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the other was 4 1/4" x 11", scored in half.

Cut a Basic White C/S layer to 4" x 5 1/4".

Cut 3 pieces of Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper to 3 3/4" x 1 5/8" and attach to the Basic White layer. 

Die cut a Basic White C/S tag and sentiment tag using the Something Fancy Dies.

Stamp the sentiment from Sentimental Park onto the tag using Memento Black Ink. Also stamp the "your new baby" onto a thin strip of Basic White C/S.

Stamp the owl onto the tag using Memento Black Ink. Colour with Stampin' Blends.

Tie a ribbon around the panel or layer some ribbon back and forth.

Attach the tag with the owl over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

Attach the larger sentiment using Dimensionals and the smaller one using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

I also stamped the bow of the owl again onto scrap paper, coloured it with Blends and cut it out and attached it to each owl using Mini Dimensionals. I love the hair bow on the pink owl card!

I also stamped a flower from Sentimental Park and coloured it using Blends for the pink card.

I added a Opal Rounds to each card to finish them off.

Canada Ink's Up! Blog Hop!

Welcome to January's Blog Hop!

We are a group of demonstrators from Canada and we love to share our creations with you!

The card I designed features a sea turtle! A true love of mine!

Directions:

I started with Night Of Navy Card Stock cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" for the card base.

Cut a piece of Thick Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4". This is the art panel.

Using Balmy Blue Ink stamped off one time and two times for a lighter shade, stamp the bubbles onto the art panel a few times.

Stamp the fish using Night Of Navy Ink.

On a scrap piece of Basic White C/S stamp the sea turtle using Balmy Blue Ink, stamped off once and the detail stamp using Night Of Navy Ink stamped off one time. Fussy cut the sea turtle and adhere it to the art panel using Dimensionals.

Using Calypso Coral Ink, stamp the sand dollar and the sentiment from Lighting The Way Stamp Set onto scrap Basic White C/S. Cut out both. Flag cut the end of the sentiment. Attach both using Dimensionals. 

Add some Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to the bottom of the panel to finish the card off.

Hello Stampers! 

Sometimes you just need a simple but elegant card that is quick to make. This is one of those cards!

Directions:

Cut a piece of Thick Basic White Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score it at 4 1/4".

Cut another piece of Thick Basic White C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" for your art panel.

Using a Stampin' Up! Blending Brush and Calypso Coral Ink, gently add some ink to the panel. *Tip: add the ink to the brush, then rub most of the ink off onto scratch paper. Then gently sponge onto the panel. This will give you a very soft layer of ink. Keep adding the ink until you are happy with the coverage.

Using a fine mist spray bottle, spritz a small amount of water onto the panel. This will give you a very unique water droplet look. Let it dry thoroughly. 

Stamp the floral image from Dainty Delight using Memento Black Ink. 

Using your Wink Of Stella Brush, splatter some onto the panel. Attach this panel to the card front using Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Basic Black Card Stock, stamp the sentiment using VeraMark Ink and heat emboss using White Embossing Powder. Trim and attach it to the card front using Dimensionals.

Cut a piece of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon to 8" and cut lengthwise into 3 sections. *Tip: I wanted a soft looking bow so by cutting the Mesh Trim down into 3 length sections it's daintier. Also cut a piece of the White Crinkle Ribbon. Tie into a bow and attach it to the card front using a Glue Dot.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2023. Thank you for following along on my Blog and sending me comments! I love hearing from you.

I have a sneak peak card for you today. It's the adorable "Thanks A Bunch" Stamp Set that will be one of the free Sale-A-Bration offerings starting January 5th, 2023.

 Who knew carrots could be so cute!! 

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored in half at 4 1/4".

Cut a piece of the New "Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper" to 4" x 5 1/4" and attach it to the card base. This DSP is another free Sale-A-Bration offering! It has 48 double sided sheets!

Cut a piece of Vellum to 4 5/8" x 3 5/8" and attach over the DSP layer. *Tip: add adhesive to the Vellum where it will be covered by the art panel so the adhesive doesn't show through.

Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 3" x 4". Stamp the carrots in 2nd generation Pumpkin Pie Ink. What does 2nd generation mean?? Ink up the carrot stamp, stamp off once onto scrap paper then stamp onto the C/S. This gives you a lighter colour. Stamp the carrot detail stamp in full strength Pumpkin Pie Ink. Stamp the carrot tops in Garden Green Ink. Stamp 3 more carrot tops onto scrap paper, fussy cut and attach over the stamped carrot tops using Dimensionals.  

Cut a piece of Crumb Cake C/S to 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" and layer the art panel onto this.

Wrap some Crumb Cake Essentials Bakers Twine around this panel 2x's and tie a bow onto the right side. Attach this layer to the card base using Dimensionals.

Stamp "Thanks" and "a bunch" onto Basic White C/S using Memento Black ink. Cut apart and attach to the card using Dimensionals.

Add a Bumblebee Trinket or whatever you have on hand to finish off the card.
