New Post-Bee Fun Fold

 Bee Fun Fold Card

I made this adorable Bee card using the Hello LadyBug Bundle. I love it when a Stampin' Up! punch can be used in different ways!

Directions:

The base of this fun fold is a single layer of Basic Black Card Stock, 5 1/2" x 4 1/8".

Cut 2 pieces of Daffodil Delight C/S, 1 1/2" x 4" and emboss using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Attach these 2 pieces to each side of the Basic Black layer.

Cut another piece of Basic Black C/S to 2 3/4" x 8 1/4" and score it at 4 1/8". Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue attach this to the card front between the 2 Daffodil Delight panels. This creates the flip opening.

Cut 2 pieces of Basic White C/S to 2 5/8" x 4". Emboss one using the Floral 3D Embossing Folder then attach it to the front flap. The second panel is the inside of the flap.

Die cut 1 Basic Black C/S label and 1 smaller Basic White C/S label using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Stamp a sentiment and some flowers onto the Basic White C/S label using Daffodil Delight and Memento Black Inks. Attach the 2 labels together then attach them to the card front flap using Dimensionals. Add a Polished Dot to each end of the Basic Black C/S label.

On the inside Basic White C/S panel stamp a few flowers using Daffodil Delight Ink. I stamped off once to get a lighter look.

To make the adorable bee follow the instructions below:

For the bee wings cut a piece of Vellum Card Stock to 2 1/4" x 3" wide, fold in half, place the fold side into the punch as shown in the photo. Leave a small gap in the punch so that the wings punch out in one piece that will be doubled.

I attached the wings to the bee using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Set aside to dry.

Attach the bee to the card using Dimensionals.

I hope you get a chance to play today and create your own fun fold bee card!

New Post: Waves Of Inspiration

Waves Of Inspiration Card

Here is another card we made at my monthly Card Club today!

I used the beautiful Waves Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper to create this pretty card.

Directions:

Cut a piece of Pacific Point Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Cut a piece of Basic Black C/S to 5" x 3 3/4". Attach this layer to the card base.

Cut a 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of the Waves Of The Ocean DSP. Using Pacific Point Ink stamp the large wave directly onto the DSP. Attach this layer to the card.

Die cut a wave using the Blue Foils Specialty Paper or Pacific Point C/S, Silver Foil, Vellum (lots of options). Using the Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, attach it over the stamped wave.

Die cut 3 Basic Black C/S birds and 3 Blue Foil birds.

Attach the 3 Basic Black C/S birds to the card front.

Die cut a tag using Basic White C/S and the Waves Dies. Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Add some White Bakers Twine to one end of the tag. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals.

Add some Rhinestones to the tag.

For the inside I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White C/S.

Stamp the pelican onto the bottom right hand side using Memento Black Ink. Add 3 foil birds using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Glue to the inside of the card.

Leave me a comment, I love hearing from you!

(New Post) Grove Dies

On The Horizon In Highland Heather

I used the Grove Dies from Stampin' Up! to create todays card. This will also be one of the cards for Card Club Class that I hold in my home monthly.

Purple is my favorite colour so choosing Highland Heather Card Stock was easy! I added the gorgeous New Horizons Designer Series paper as the background. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment.

Directions:

Cut a piece of Highland Heather Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Emboss the card front using the Gingham Embossing Folder.

Attach a strip of the Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon across the card front.

Die cut the Grove Trees using a piece of 5" x 3 3/4" Basic Black C/S and 2 deer from scrap Basic Black C/S.

Cut a piece of the New Horizons DSP to 5" x 3 3/4".

Attach Mini Dimensionals to the back of the Grove Trees Die Cut. Be generous, you want the die cut to be sturdy and not sink in. Using Dimensionals on this project creates a really nice shadow effect.

Attach the New Horizons DSP to the back of the die cut then using Multi-purpose Liquid Glue attach the panel to the card front. This package of 6" x 6" DSP is stunning!! I choose the purple tones for my project today.

Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue attach the 2 deers.

Add 3 Rhinestones to the bottom right corner.

Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink onto a strip of Highland Heather C/S. Angle cut both ends. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed todays card!

Happy Stamping and Creating!
