Sailing Home
Sailing Home is such a great set! It's also perfect for masculine cards!!
I first stamped the lighthouse in Night of Navy Ink and die cut it using the Smooth Sailing Dies. It's popped up onto a Whisper White Stitched Nested Label that has the birds flying in the background. The card base is 4x4 Night Of Navy C/S with a 4x4 piece of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, I ran this through the Big Shot using the High Seas 3D folder. It's very subtle but it adds a bit of dimension. I finished it off with a sentiment and a Sail Away Trinket.

Daisy Card Sketch Challenge
It's time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!

Here is my take on the sketch layout:
I used Pretty Peacock, Whisper White and Granny Apple Green Card Stock. The Pretty Peacock layer is Embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder. The Designer Series Paper layer is the 2019-2021 In Colour 6X6 Paper. I punched out 2 large and 3 medium Daisies in Whisper White with the Daisy Punches and sprinkled them with some Wink Of Stella for a bit of sparkle!! Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon and a Perennial Essence Floral Centre finishes off this card!

Magnolia Whitewash Technique
This is such a fun and addicting technique. Get out your Aquapainter and inks and have fun!!
I first stamped the Magnolia Bloom in VersaMark then heat embossed it in Gold Embossing Powder. Then using your Aquapainter with just a small amount of water, paint on a light layer of Whisper White Craft Ink. Let it completely dry. Then using Old Olive and Melon Mambo inks, (squeezing the lid of the ink pad leaves a little pool of ink inside the lid, this is your palette) colour in the flower and leaves. I started off with a very light coat of ink, then went back and highlighted some areas with a slightly darker layer. I kept the card design very simple, I wanted the flower to be the focus! I also didn't add any sentiment to the card front, this way it can be used for almost any occasion!

Ink: Versamark, Whisper White Craft Ink, Old Olive and Melon Mambo Classic Ink
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Glittered Organdy Black Ribbon

I love the look of the Basic Black card stock paired with the Petal Pink c/s, it's a great "pop" of colour contrast!

Magnolia Birthday
Here is yet another card featuring the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. This time I used my Stampin' Blends and colored the flowers with Highland Heather and Purple Posy. It completely changes the look of the DSP!
