Magnolia Pocket Card

I just can not stop playing with the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper!! This is one of the projects we did recently at my card club. 
My inspiration for this card came from Ronda Wade!!

Pocket cards are simple to make and so pretty with the DSP!!
Here are the measurements:
DSP-10 5/8 X 4 Score at 5 1/4 and 9 1/4, fold down flap
Base card stock: Petal Pink 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 
Layer on base: Basic Black 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
Insert: Whisper White 4 3/4 X 3 1/4

Other Supplies Used:
Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia
Dies: Magnolia Memory
Card Stock: Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow
Ink: Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink
Rhinestones, Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack, Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon and a hole punch.

Accessories: Scripty Emboss Folder, Stitched Shaped Large Circle, Classic Label Punch, Black Glimmer Embossing Powder (new), Shaded Spruce/Gold Ribbon (new) and Metallic Pearls.

So Saffron Free As A Bird

I think this might be the first card I have made using So Saffron card stock!! It is so pretty with the Mossy Meadow card stock!! The strip of Designer Series Paper is Magnolia Lane coloured with the So Saffron Stampin' Blends. It completely changes the look of the DSP. So many possibilities!! I adhered the DSP to the Mossy Meadow panel then embossed it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.

I stamped the Free As A Bird in Memento Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends. They are attached to a Stitched Shape Oval with some pretty Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon behind. The flourish is from the Well Written Dies. I finished it off with some Rhinestones.

Ink: Memento Black
Stamps: Free As A Bird

August Paper Pumpkin Projects

I had so much fun putting together this months Paper Pumpkin Projects. I purchased the "add on" card pack. This was the first time that Stampin' Up! has offered a coordinating add on kit for the PP.
This kit was the cute gift bags and the add on was the card bases with matching envelopes. There was lots of embellishments and bling to do the bags and the cards.

My First Christmas Card of the Season!!


You can never start your Christmas Cards too early!! They are probably my most enjoyable cards to design!
I used a new set from the 2010-2020 Holiday Catty called Nature's Beauty. This is Stampin' Up!'s "Be A Difference Maker" stamp set. $4.00 of every sale goes towards mental health organizations. I'm proud that SU! gives back to help different organizations. 

Isn't this deer so darling!!! I have used lots of new product for this card!!! You can too, starting September 4th!!! It's hard to tell in this photo, but the trees and sentiment sparkle!!
