Canada Ink's Up! Blog Hop!
It's time for another team blog hop!
I have so many bits and pieces of Designer Series Paper leftover that I decided to use them up with these two layout ideas!
For this card I started with a Blackberry Bliss Card Stock base cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".
I added a layer of Basic Black C/S cut to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".
Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S and emboss it using the Twigs And Sprigs Embossing Folder. Attach to the card.
Cut 2 pieces of Basic Black C/S, 1@ 3/4" x 4 3/4" and 1@ 3/4" x 4 3/8". Emboss both strips using the Twigs And Sprigs Embossing Folder. Set aside.
Cut 3 strips from Designer Series Paper, 2@ 3/4" x 4 7/8" and 1@ 3/4" x 4 1/2".
Attach the 5 strips to the embossed Basic White C/S layer using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.
*Tip- lay your strips out on the panel before glueing to check for spacing. I overlapped the pieces slightly.
Using the Lovely And Lasting Stamp Set and matching Lasting Label Punch, stamp the outline in Blackberry Bliss Ink and the sentiment using Rich Razzleberry Ink. Punch out the label.
Add some Silver Simply Elegant Trim behind the label then attach to the card with Dimensionals.
Add some Rhinestones to the label to finish off the card.
For the next card the measurements are the same as above but I used Basic Black C/S as my card base and Rich Razzleberry C/S as a layer.
Cut 3 strips of DSP, 1@ 3/4" x 5 1/4", 1 @ 3/4" x 5" and 1@ 3/4" x 4 3/4". Attach them to the Basic White panel using Multi-purpose Liquid Glue.
Stamp Thank You using Rich Razzleberry Ink.
Wrap some White Crinkled Seam Binging Ribbon and Silver Simply Elegant Trim around the card and tie into a bow then pull out of end to leave just one loop.
Add some Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to finish off the card.
I hope you get a chance to play and use up some of your leftover bits and pieces! Happy Stamping and Creating!
Arlene
