Birthday Jubilee Scrappy Strips

I decided to try a technique called "Scrappy Strips" or "Paper Strips". It's a great way to use up all those leftover pieces of Designer Series Paper. I really enjoyed this technique!! So many different possibilities!! I used my all time favourite DSP, Magnolia Lane!! 

I used Basic Black Card Stock 5" X 3 3/4" as my panel to glue the strips onto. Use Multipurpose Glue so that the strips are well adhered. 
I cut my strips at 1/2" wide and 3 at 8" long. I started with the middle longest strip, leave a small gap between each strip. Then I added one more long strip on each side of the middle strip. Then continue adding strips 90 degrees from the first 3. You can use up your shorter strips for this part. The strips will hang over the edge, after you have finished trim away the excess. I embossed this panel using the Subtle Embossing Folder. I then glued this panel onto another piece of Basic Black Card Stock measuring 5 1/4" X 4"and attached it to my Petal Pink card base.
I stamped Happy Birthday onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and angle cut both ends. I stamped 3 flowers from the Birthday Jubilee stamp set, coloured them with Stampin' Blends, (Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow) and cut them out with my Paper Snips. The sentiment and flowers are attached using dimensional and finished off with some Rhinestones. I had a lot of fun making this card! Give it a try!!

Country Club Golf Card

The Country Club Designer Series Paper did all the work for me with this card!!

The card base is Whisper White then the DSP layer, Whisper White panel, Night Of Navy panel then another DSP panel with the golfer. I chose not to colour the Golfer. I really liked it as is. I stamped "Happy Mother's Day" in Night Of Navy ink on Whisper White Card Stock and flagged the end. The sentiment is from Aprils Paper Pumpkin.

I will be so sad to see the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper retire.....but that also means that Stampin' Up! will be releasing some NEW DSP soon!!!! 

I used So Saffron again, I just love the softness of this Card Stock!

This is another card layout that I made for the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

The card base is a standard 5 1/2" X  8 1/2" and scored at 
4 1/4". I cut 3/4" off of the right hand side. The Designer Series Paper measures 3 1/4" X  5 1/4" with a strip of Whisper White Card Stock cut out with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and attached onto the right side under the DSP. I used the Painted Labels Dies to cut out the fancy circle with So Saffron Card Stock. The Whisper White centre was punched out with a 2" Circle Punch and I stamped the flowers from the Botanical Prints Medley in Petal Pink and the sentiment is stamped in Memento Black Ink. I added a strip of Metallic Edged Petal Pink Ribbon under the circles. A quick and easy card with a different look by cutting off the 3/4" strip.

Botanical Prints Black and White Card

I made this card in 5 minutes!!!! So fast, so easy, yet so elegant!!

The Stamp Set and Dies are from the Botanical Prints Product Medley Kit. It's on page 61 of the Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalogue. It is by far my favorite kit ever and comes with so many bits and pieces!!! Check it out!!

It was very easy to put together this card. I started with a small card base from the Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, die cut out 4 of the corner decorations in Basic Black. I glued these onto the card base using my Fine Tip Glue. I stamped the floral image from the Botanical Prints Stamp Set in Memento Black in the middle of the card. I added some Wink Of Stella to the image. 

Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap piece of Whisper White, banner cut both ends, add a bit of ribbon to one end and attach to card using dimensional. That's it!!!!
