 Greeting Card Gift Set

I love making cards sets and a matching bag or box to hold them.

I made a set of cards on this Blog Post here. As promised here is the matching bag to hold them!

Directions: 

You start with a 8 1/4" x 12" piece of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper. I used this DSP for all the cards. 

On the 12" side, score at 4 1/2", 5 3/4", 10 1/4" and 11 1/2".

Turn and score on the 8 1/4" side at 1 1/4" and 7 1/4.

Burnish on all the score lines.

The bottom of the bag is the 1 1/4" score line. 

Cut up to the first score line (1 1/4") as shown in the photo. 

Remove both small corners on the 11 1/2" score line. 

Fold over the top 1" score line for the bag top.  

Add adhesive to the 11 1/2" score line and fold over to adhere the bag together.

Fold in bottom flaps and add some glue to the last flap.

 

Use a small hole punch to punch some holes into the sides of the bag to add a ribbon handle. 

To decorate the bag I used the Something Fancy Dies to cut a Basic White Card Stock label. I stamped the words from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set using Petal Pink Ink stamped off one time for a softer look.

I added some Crinkle White Ribbon under the tag then attached it to the bag using Dimensionals.

I die cut a Basic Black C/S floral piece and a butterfly using the Meadow Dies. I attached them over the label.

I used some Glittered Organdy Ribbon for the handle.

This bag could easily fit 5 cards and envelopes.

Easy Fun Fold

 Easy Fun Fold With Flowing Flowers

This is a quick and easy fun fold card. 

I used some new products from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue and the Sunshine And Rainbows Designer Series Paper that I used can be earned for FREE with a $60.00 order from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue!

Directions:

Cut a Pool Party Card Stock base of 7 1/4" x 5 1/2" and score at 3".

Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper: 1@ 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" and 1 @ 2 3/4" x 5 1/2". Attach them to the card as shown.

Using the Layering Circles Dies, die cut one Basic White C/S circle, one Pool Party circle slightly larger and one Basic Black Scalloped circle slightly larger. 

Stamp the flower from Flowing Flowers onto the Basic White C/S circle using Pool Party Ink and then stamp the sentiment over top using memento Black Ink. 

Layer the circles together. I used Dimensionals on the basic White circle.

Attach the circles to the card front using Dimensionals *only on half of the circle.*

Attach a Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon bow under the circle using a Glue Dot. 

Super simple right! Change the Designer Series Paper and Card Stock and image the endless possibilities!!

 Art Gallery Sneak Peek

I decided to use a NEW product that will be available starting January 5, 2021!! 

I only used the Art Gallery Stamp Set for this card. I also decided to use it for this weeks challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.

It is a beautiful bundle with so many possibilities! One of the Dies cuts out "just wanted to say". Then you can add a stamped image to finish the sentiment. I will post a card tomorrow showcasing that technique.

So here is my card. Very simple and easy to create!

I started with a Rich Razzleberry card base, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". Wrap some Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon around the card base and tie into a bow on the left hand side.

On a piece of 3" x 4" Whisper White C/S stamp the flower from Art Gallery 3X using Rich Razzleberry Ink. I started in the middle then added 1 on each side of the entered flower. 

Cut the stamped panel into 4 equal pieces measuring 1" x 3". Keep your pieces in order. Attach these strips to a 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece of  Basic Black C/S using Multi-purpose Liquid Glue. Leave an even border all around and in-between the strips. 

Emboss the panel using the Tasteful textiles Embossing Folder. Attach to card base using Dimensionals. 

Add 3 Rhinestones to the bottom right hand side of the card.

Timeless Tulips For Easter

Crafting is a great way to escape from the stress for a little while.

I kept this card very clean and neat. Isn't that Pool Party So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper beautiful! You can still earn it for free during Sale-A-Bration until March 31, 2020!

I die cut a circle from Whisper White C/S, trimming off one edge to make it flush with the card. I stamped the stem and leaves from Timeless Tulips in Pear Pizzazz. The Tulip is stamped on a piece of scrap Whisper White C/S in Pineapple Punch and hand cut. I think this is the first time I have used Pineapple Punch Classic Ink! Why!! It it's such a vibrant and cheerful colour!! It's part of the 2018-2020 In-Color Collection, and will be retiring soon, so don't miss out!! 
I stamped the Easter sentiment in Basic Grey and die cut it out with the Sending Flowers Die. I finished the card with a little bow and some Rhinestones.
