 Best Wishes Card And My Furry Assistant Lola!

Todays card is for the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. Be sure to check out all the other talented participants! 

I decided to use the amazing Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper. This is a "specialty" paper that has this gorgeous gold metallic foiling! It's so pretty!! Check it out on page 131 of the 2021-2022 Annual catalogue.

Directions and sizes:

I started with a Polished Pink Card Stock base, 4 1/4"x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". 

I cut 3 pieces of the Expressions In Ink DSP; 

2"x 5 5/16"

2" 3 1/4"

2" 1 15/16"

Attach the DSP pieces to the card base using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. 

Using the Artistic Dies, die cut some leaves using Basic Black Card Stock and the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper!! This gorgeous Be Dazzling paper will be available August 3-September 30, 2021 during Sale-A-Bration. The best part of Sale-A-Bration is that you can get this paper for FREE with a $60.00 order!! 

I used some small dots of Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to attach the leaf die cuts to the card front.

Using Basic White C/S and the Tailor Made Tags, die cut a small tag out. Also die cut a Basic Black circle hole reinforcement. Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, attach the reinforcement to the tag. 

Stamp a sentiment onto the tag using Memento Black Ink. Attach the tag to the card front using Dimensionals. 

Tie a triple bow using Basic Black Bakers Twine. Attach to the tag using a Glue Dot.

As a Demonstrator we are able to view all the new catalogues early. As well as place a "pre-order". I do love this perk!! Todays card has a few new items that will be released on August 3rd, 2021.

I also designed todays card for the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. Check out all the other participants HERE.

Can you spot the new products? One is a new stamp set, I used for the sentiment, "Delicate Dahlias", it's gorgeous! The other is the stunning "Be Dazzling 6x6 Specialty Paper". It is so sparkly and beautiful!!!

My card is very simple. I started with a Basic Black Card Stock base, 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".

I used my Stampin' Trimmer and cut a 2" piece of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. I attached it to my card base at an angle using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, then I trimmed off the excess using my Paper Snips.

I stamped 3 flowers and 2 leaves from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set onto Basic White C/S using Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green Inks. I die cut them out using the coordinating Artistic Dies. I splattered some Wink Of Stella onto the flowers. 

I attached the flowers using Dimensionals and then I tucked the leaves under the flowers and attached them using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. 

I stamped the sentiment using VeraMark Ink and heat embossed it using White Embossing Powder. 

Look at that sparkle!!!

New Post, Artistically Inked Bundle

 

Artistically Inked Bundle and Alcohol Blending

I just had to make another card using the Alcohol Blending Technique and Stampin' Blends! 

My other card was made with softer colours. You can see that card and all the directions to do the alcohol blending technique HERE.

Todays card is very bright and cheery!!

Isn't that Vellum background gorgeous!!!  To achieve this look you only need 3 different Stampin' Blends: Polished Pink, Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo! With our amazing palette of Stampin' Blends imagine the combinations!!

I added a Basic Black C/S floral die cut from the Artistic Dies. Doesn't that flower just pop on that background!! 

I finished up the card with some Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon. This ribbon has a beautiful shimmer to it. To add the ribbon I placed some Stampin' Seal Adhesive down on the card front then attached the ribbon by gathering it for some more texture. The sentiment is stamped onto Basic White C/S and angle cut at both ends. I also splattered some Wink Of Stella all over the card front. 

The card base is Night Of Navy C/S cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". 

Cut the Vellum C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" as well as a piece of Basic White C/S. Do your alcohol blending before attaching the Basic White C/S behind the Vellum. If you mount the finished Vellum onto Basic White C/S the colours are much more vivid.
