 Fall Card For The Weekly Challenge 

This is my card for the weekly challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. Be sure to check out everyones designs!

I decided to do a Fall inspirational card. I love the colours of the leaves this time of the year and the smell of the fresh cool air.  

I used the beautiful "Delicate Dahlias" Stamp Set. It's a free set during Stampin' Up's! Sale-A-Bration promotion running until September 30th, 2021. (Check out the SAB catalogue on the right side bar.)

 I stamped the detailed floral image using Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry Inks onto 1 3/4" Basic White squares and layered them onto 1 7/8" Basic Black squares. I then embossed all 3 squares using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I glued 2 of them flat to the card base and I popped up the middle one using Dimensionals. 

I added a sprig and a butterfly using Black Glitter Paper and the Meadow Dies. Black Glitter Paper isn't just for Halloween!! 

The sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto a small scrap of Basic White C/S and attached to the card front using Dimensionals.

Canada Inks Up Blog Hop

 Canada Inks Up Blog Hop

I have used the beautiful Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper for todays card. This paper is one of the Sale-A-Bration products that you can earn for FREE!! Check out the SAB Catalogue on the right side of this Blog.

I wanted to showcase both sides of this paper so I created a fun fold. 

Directions:

Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". 

Cut the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper to 5 1/4" x 8" and score at 4". 

Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Attach the Peaceful Prints to this layer then attach to the Real Red layer. 

Die cut a Basic White C/S Scalloped Contours Die. Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink and a small flower from the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set using Real Red Ink stamped off one time onto the scalloped panel. Attach to the inside of the card. I love how both sides of the Designer Series Paper can be seen using this fun fold.

I added 3 Rhinestones to the inside as well. Well, truth be told, I had a few ink smudges that I had to cover!! Rhinestones to the rescue!

For the front of the card, I cut a 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" piece of Basic White Card Stock and a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of Real Red C/S. Emboss the Real Red C/S using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Attach the Real Red C/S to the Basic White C/S then attach to the card front using Dimensionals. Attach a "Wonderful Snowflake" using a Dimensional to the Real Red square. Add 3 Subtle Shimmer Sequins using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to the center of the snowflake and a Glittered Organdy Ribbon to the right side using a Glue Dot. 

The Designer Series Paper is the star of the show so I kept the card front simple to let the DSP shine!

  Delicate Dahlias In So Saffron

I made todays card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, click on the link to check out all the amazing cards! 

I used So Saffron Card Stock and Ink to create this card. 

I love the pop of the Calypso Coral Card Stock, the Basic Black Bakers Twine bow and the tiny little Basic Black Card Stock 
border behind the tag. Just that little shadow of the Basic Black C/S helps to make the tag "pop"!

I also added a small rectangle of "Be Dazzling Specialty 6 x 6 Paper" behind the Calypso Coral C/S sentiment. This gorgeous paper is FREE with a $60 order during Stampin' Up's! Directions:

I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of So Saffron Card Stock. Score it at 4 1/4". This is the card base.

Using So Saffron Ink and the Delicate Dahlia stamp, repeated stamp the flower all over the card base front. *Tip: This is a detailed stamp, you don't want to over ink it or you will lose lots of the finer details. 

Die cut one Basic White C/S and one Basic Black C/S label using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Stamp some Dahlias using So Saffron Ink onto the Basic White C/S tag.

Cut the Basic Black C/S tag in half horizontally. Glue the two parts behind the Basic White tag so that a tiny little border shows. 

Attach this tag to the card front using Dimensionals.

Cut a small rectangle of Calypso Coral C/S and using Memento Black Ink, stamp a sentiment. Attach this to a rectangle strip of the "Be Dazzling 6 x 6 Specialty Paper". Attach this to the card front. 

Tie a triple bow using Basic Black Bakers Twine, attach to the right edge of the tag using a Glue Dot. 

Try making this layout in multiply colors of card stocks and inks.
