New Post-Bee Fun Fold

 Bee Fun Fold Card

I made this adorable Bee card using the Hello LadyBug Bundle. I love it when a Stampin' Up! punch can be used in different ways!

Directions:

The base of this fun fold is a single layer of Basic Black Card Stock, 5 1/2" x 4 1/8". 

Cut 2 pieces of Daffodil Delight C/S, 1 1/2" x 4" and emboss using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Attach these 2 pieces to each side of the Basic Black layer.

Cut another piece of Basic Black C/S to 2 3/4" x 8 1/4" and score it at 4 1/8". Using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue attach this to the card front between the 2 Daffodil Delight panels. This creates the flip opening.

Cut 2 pieces of Basic White C/S to 2 5/8" x 4". Emboss one using the Floral 3D Embossing Folder then attach it to the front flap. The second panel is the inside of the flap.

Die cut 1 Basic Black C/S label and 1 smaller Basic White C/S label using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Stamp a sentiment and some flowers onto the Basic White C/S label using Daffodil Delight and Memento Black Inks. Attach the 2 labels together then attach them to the card front flap using Dimensionals. Add a Polished Dot to each end of the Basic Black C/S label.

On the inside Basic White C/S panel stamp a few flowers using Daffodil Delight Ink. I stamped off once to get a lighter look.

To make the adorable bee follow the instructions below:

For the bee wings cut a piece of Vellum Card Stock to 2 1/4" x 3" wide, fold in half, place the fold side into the punch as shown in the photo. Leave a small gap in the punch so that the wings punch out in one piece that will be doubled. 

I attached the wings to the bee using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Set aside to dry. 

Attach the bee to the card using Dimensionals.

Brilliant Wings Card

 Brilliant Wings Card

This is my card for the challenge over at 

Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the True Love Designer Series Paper. This DSP is black and white. I used my Stampin' Blends to add lots of Spring colour to the paper!

I started with a card base of Smoky Slate Card Stock, 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".

Cut a piece of Basic Black C/S to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

Cut a piece of Pretty Peacock C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Attach the Pretty Peacock C/S to the Basic Black C/S using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a piece of True Love Designer Series Paper to 4" x 2". Colour using these Stampin' Blends combos; Calypso Coral, Pretty Peacock, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sea Foam, and Petal Pink. Attach it to the Pretty Peacock.

Using a Calypso Coral Dark Stampin' Blends, colour some White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. Wrap it around the panel and tie into a bow. 

Attach the panel to the card base using Dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment and die cut out using the Many Messages Bundle, attach to the card using Dimensionals. Add a Rhinestone to each end of the tag.

Die cut 3 butterflies using the Brilliant Wings Die and Shimmery White Card Stock. Attach them to the card front using Glue Dots.

The "Oh So Ombre" is one of those items that you can get! I decided to make 4 cards using this Designer Series Paper. I also used three more items from the SAB catalogue, the "Corner Bouquet" Stamp Set, the "Heal Your Heart" Stamp Set and "A Touch Of Ink" Stamp Set. 

This card has a Blackberry Bliss Card Stock base of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". The coordinating colour of the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper is cut to 4" x 5 1/4". (All the cards use the same measurements and coordinating Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper) . I stamped the flowers from the Corner Bouquet and the sentiment from Heal Your Heart in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Emboss this piece using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Attach to the card base using Multi-Purpose Glue. Add some Whisper White Crinkled Seam binding ribbon to the top.   

This card base is Granny Apple Green. I stamped the flowers and sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Again I embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I wrapped some White Bakers Twine around the card and tied a bow.

For this card I used Bermuda Bay Card Stock. I stamped the flowers and sentiment in Basic Grey Ink and embossed using the Tasteful Textiles EF. I added a small Dragon Fly using the "Dragonflies Punch".

This card base is Rococo Rose. I stamped the flowers and sentiment from "A Touch Of Ink" using Memento Black Ink. I embossed this panel using the "Ornate Floral 3D" embossing Folder. Then I took a very fine sanding block and gently sanded some of the raised embossed flowers, I like how the white shows through. Again I used White Bakers Twine to add a bow.
