 Simply Christmas!

Sometimes you just need a super simple, easy, minimalistic card. This is one of those designs. 

The card base is Whisper White C/S 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".

Stamp the tree from Winter Woods in Shaded Spruce near the bottom left side. Tear a 4 1/4" x 1" strip of Feels Like Frost DSP along one long edge to create a snow bank. Attach to the bottom of the card using Dimensionals. Attach a 4 1/4" x 1/2" strip of Feels Like Frost DSP to the top of the card. *Happy accident, I didn't like where I had the top piece of the DSP, it wasn't straight, still isn't!!  So I carefully removed it. When I did that it kinked the paper and added some interesting lines to it!! I had used the Stampin' Seal. If you pull very gently you can usually remove what you have attached.*

Stamp the sentiment from Poinsettia Petals onto a strip of Whisper White C/S using Shaded Spruce Ink. Flag cut one end using the Banners Pick A Punch or Snips. Cut a slightly wider and longer strip of Shaded Spruce C/S, flag cut/punch one end and attach the sentiment strip to it. Attach to card front using Dimensionals. Sprinkle Wink Of Stella onto the tree and add 5 Rhinestones to finish the card  off. 

This card design would also be beautiful if you stamped the tree in Night Of Navy or Pretty Peacock!

Fun Fold Stars


It's fun to change things up and do a "fun fold" card. This one is super simple as well.

Start with an 4 1/4" X 11" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, score it in half at 5 1/2". Cut off 2 3/4" from one end. This will be your front panel. It attaches to the card with dimensionals on the left side. 
On the left side of the card I attached a piece of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, I die cut the Stitched Stars with Silver Glimmer Paper and also used the off cut stars for some added sparkle!! The sentient is from the stamp set So Many Stars, I stamped it in Balmy Blue ink. 


For the inside I stamped some stars in Silver Delicate ink and the Merry Christmas from Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Balmy Blue. Just make sure your inside sentiment will be covered by your front panel. 

Silver and blue Christmas cards are so pretty!!

Elegant Blueberry

Here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!!

I seem to have forgotten about the 2018-2020 In-Colours, so I wanted to use one today for this challenge! I decided on the Blueberry Bushel. It's a vibrant and beautiful blue!!

I used the Feels Like Frost 6X6 Designer Series Paper for the background and also the silver layer behind the background. This DSP has gorgeous wintery scenes on one side and beautiful silver foil patterns on the reverse! So one set does double duty!! The flourish and sentiment are from stamp set Very Versailles. I finished it off with Silver Metallic Ribbon, Rhinestones and some Wink Of Stella!!

Ink: Blueberry Bushel and Night Of Navy for the sentiment
Stamps: Very Versailles
