Canada Ink's Up Blog Hop
This months theme for our teams Blog Hop is Birthday Celebrations! We always need birthday cards!
I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base scored at 4 1/4" of Polished Pink C/S.
Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Polished Pink C/S. Die cut a circle at the top center of this panel using the Layering Circles Dies. Emboss this panel using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.
Using the same circle die as you did for cutting out the window, and the next largest die, layer them together and run them through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine using Basic White C/S. This cuts out the Basic White C/S border around the window. Paint this circle with some Wink Of Stella. Attach it around the window opening using tiny dots of Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. *Tip, use some removable tape or Washi Tape to hold the 2 circle dies together before running die cutting them.
Splatter Wink Of Stella all over the panel.
Add Foam Adhesive strips all around the panel with the window and attach to the card base. This adds a nice pop-up effect!
Stamp the sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set onto a strip of Basic White C/S using Memento Black Ink. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals.
Add a bow using the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon to finish off the card.

Happy Stamping and Creating!

ReplyDeleteLove this card! Colours are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to 'dido' everyone's comments Arlene. The colors in this card are stunning. The black die behind the circle is so elegant with the black organdy ribbon. I also like how the tag for the sentiment is cut on the diagonal. TFS
