Freshly Made Sketches

This card came together very quickly.

 I started with a Whisper White card base of 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". 

Cut 2 pieces of Whisper White C/S, one at 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" and one at 1" x 5 1/2". Emboss both of these pieces using the Greenery Embossing Folder. 

Cut 2 strips of Gorgeous Grape C/S to 1/2" x 5 1/2" and attach to the back of the 2 embossed pieces. You want just a wee bit of the Gorgeous Grape C/S showing.  

Using Petal Pink Ink and Highland Heather Ink, stamp some greenery onto the card base, closer to the left side. 

Attach the 2 embossed panels to the card front using Dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment using Gorgeous Grape Ink. 

Add some Metallic Mesh Ribbon behind the sentiment. Attach to card front using Dimensionals.

Gorgeous Posies Project Kit

I have always loved Project Kits! When I saw this one, in my favorite colour purple, I knew I was getting it ASAP!!! For me a kit is really great when my creativity has decided to take a break! They are fun, easy and all the instructions are included. 

It also comes in a beautiful keepsake BOX!

You can buy the kit and stamp set or just the kit or just the stamp set. I bought both because I really liked the Box and the sentiments included with the stamp set.

Baby Cards

In The Clouds

I made this card for my daughter, she is expecting her third babe in September!!! A precious boy!

I used some retired items. If a stamp set, dies or paper is a real favorite of mine I will keep it! Good thing I did for this card!

I also stamped the hot air balloon onto the envelope. 

The card base is Basic Grey C/S cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4".

The Grey Dotted Designer Series Paper is 5 1/4" x 4", attach to card front. Cut a piece of Whisper White C/S to 5" x 3 3/4" and using a Scalloped Square on a diagonal, die cut out a window. Then run this piece through a Die Cut Machine and emboss using a Cloud Embossing Folder. Cut another piece of Designer Series Paper slightly bigger than the window. Attach this DSP flat to the card front. Wrap the Bakers Twine around the card and tie a bow on the left side.  Attach the Whisper White Cloud Panel to the card front using Dimensionals. Stamp a Hot Air Balloon onto Whisper White C/S, heat emboss with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder, die cut out and attach to card using Dimensionals. Die cut a small tag from the Tasteful Labels Dies using Night Of Navy C/S. Stamp sentiment using VersaMark Ink, heat emboss using White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Attach to Card front with Dimensionals. Add 2 Flowers For Every Season Gems onto each end of the sentiment. So many different possibilities using this same layout and technique!
