Eden's Garden

 Eden's Garden

I found some time to play in my craft room today. I brought out the Eden's Garden Collection and designed the first card. The second card we designed together at our team, Canada Ink's Up! Zoom Christmas party!

**While the Eden's Garden Bundle will be available in the upcoming January-June Mini 2022 Catalogue, the Ever Eden Designer Series Paper, Ever Eden Cotton Paper and the Garden Gems are only available until January 3rd, 2022. So if you need them don't wait!!!

Here are the directions for the 1st card:

Cut a card base of Evening Evergreen Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S and the same for a piece of the Soft Succulent Cotton Tissue Paper. Crumple up the Cotton Paper. Using a Glue Stick, add glue over all of the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S, un-crumple the Cotton Paper and carefully attach it to the Basic White C/S layer. Press down gently covering all of the Basic White C/S layer. If a tiny bit of the Basic White C/S shows on some edges, use a trimmer to trim off. Attach this layer to the card base.

Cut 2 different pieces of the Ever Eden Designer Series Paper, 1@ 2" x 4 3/4" and 1@ 1 3/4" 4". Attach to the card base using my photo for placement.

Cut a 4 1/4" piece of Gold Shimmer Ribbon. Attach to the card front with a strip of Tear And Tape. See photo for placement.

Using the fancy leaf sentiment die from Eden's Dies, die cut out using Evening Evergreen C/S. Cut a piece of Basic White C/S, 1/2" x 2 1/2" and using Evening Evergreen Ink, stamp the sentiment. Attach together with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, then using Dimensionals, attach to the card front making sure some of the Gold Shimmer Ribbons shows at the top of the sentiment die.

Add some Garden Gems to finish off the card.

Directions for the 2nd card:

Cut a card base of Evening Evergreen Card Stock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Cut a piece of Soft Succulent C/S to 3 3/4" x 5".

Cut the Ever Eden Designer Series Papers follows:

1@ 2" x 5"

2@ 3/4" x 5"

Attach the DSP strips to the Soft Succulent C/S panel leaving some space between the DSP layers. See photo for placement. Attach this layer to the card base.

Cut a piece of Basic White C/S to 3" x 2 1/2". Stamp the floral image using Evening Evergreen Ink.

Cut a piece of Evening Evergreen C/S to 3 1/8" x 2 5/8". Attach the Basic White stamped piece to this panel. Attach it to the card base using Dimensionals.

Add a Soft Succulent Ribbon Bow and 3 Garden Gems to the stamped panel.

On a small scrap of Basic White C/S, using Evening Evergreen Ink, stamp a sentiment. Angle cut one end then attach it to the card front using Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed both cards today. Leave me a comment, I love hearing from you!

Fun Fold Z Card

Fun Fold Z Card

I decided to make a Fun Fold Z Card. They are super easy to do and fun to make!

Directions and Sizes:

I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Soft Succulent Card Stock. Score on the long side at 2 1/8" x 4 1/4". The 2 1/8" section will fold back to create the Z.

I then cut a piece of Evening Evergreen C/S to 4" x 5 1/4" and embossed it using the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this panel onto the left side folded back piece only using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a piece of Basic Black C/S to 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" and a piece of Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper to 2 1/2" x 4". Attach the DSP to the Basic Black panel. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals.

Punch out a Very Vanilla C/S tag using the Elegant Tag Punch. Stamp a sentiment using the Elegantly Said Stamp Set and Evening Evergreen Ink. Attach the tag to the card front at an angle using Dimensionals.

Add a Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon bow, a Bumblebee Trinket and some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Blog Hop

 Canada Ink's Up! Blog Hop

It's time for another Canada Ink's Up!s Blog Hop. I wanted to showcase some of the new 2021-2023 In-Colors from Stampin' Up!

The NEW colours are: Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia.

Todays card uses the Fresh Freesia Card Stock and Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon, two of the new In-Colors!

I started with a Thick Basic White card base of 4 1/4" x 11" and I scored it at 5 1/2".

I die cut Fresh Freesia rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Dies, attach this to the card base.

Cut a Basic White Scalloped Contours Die, the next size down. Attach using Dimensionals.

Using Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, die cut the next size down of the Scalloped Contours. Emboss this layer using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Attach it to the Basic White layer using Multi-purpose Glue.

Die cut from basic White C/S a Scalloped Contours label. Stamp a sentiment from Color And Contour Stamp Set using Evening Evergreen Classic Ink. Attach to the card front using Dimensionals.

Add a Bumblebee Trinket and Soft Succulent Ribbon to finish off the card.

Thanks for hopping along with us today!! Check out all the other participants at the end of this post.
