Birthday Wishes

I love the elegance of this card!! Poppy Parade, Gold Foil and Basic Black Card Stock together are just stunning!!!

Check out the matching envelope! I used the large rose stamp from the Christmastime Is Here Bundle. Stamping on your envelope just takes your homemade cards to another level!

I used the Heirloom Frames and matching 3D Embossing Folders. That's another reason I love Stampin' Up! so much, everything coordinates!!! The card base is Basic Black with a Poppy Parade layer embossed with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. The frame is Gold Foil die cut, then embossed with the matching folder. I added a piece of the Christmas Rose Designer Series paper behind the frame. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays and it's gold embossed. It is finished off with Gold Shimmer Ribbon and some Gold Glitter Dots.

I love how vibrant this card is!! The Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Gold and Basic Black are so stunning together!!!
This card came together quickly with the help of the FMS challenge!
I first embossed the lower part of the Cherry Cobbler panel with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, it adds just a hint of movement and interest. The floral panel is the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper coloured with Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I die cut a few circles, off-set the Very Vanilla circle over the Basic Black circle, stamped my sentiment in Memento Black and again in Cherry Cobbler, trimming the word Christmas out and popping it up on top. The beautiful Gold Shimmer Ribbon is from the Christmastime Is Here Suite. I finished it off with a few Gold Metallic Pearls.

Christmastime is Here Suite From SU!

I made this card for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. When you are in a creative drought, following a sketch challenge is a great way to find your "mojo" again!!

This is my card, finding my inspiration from the layout.

I used products from the "Christmastime is Here" Suite. It is a stunning limited release set available Nov. 1st. The DSP has gorgeous gold foil accents, so pretty and festive!!
