 Quick and Easy Thank You Cards

Sometimes you need a card in a hurry and this is a great layout to use. Make up a few in different colours and keep them on hand.

I designed all the cards the same way.

Repeatedly stamp the large flower from the Prized Peony Stamp Set in the same coloured ink as the card stock. 

Stamp either the large flower or the smaller flower from the Prized Peony Stamp Set onto the Basic White layering Circle. If the ink is too dark, stamp off onto scrap paper once then onto the circle. I love using this technique of softly adding a stamped image under my sentiment.  Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Layer the Basic White circle with a Basic Black Scalloped Circle. 

I added various accessories to the cards;  Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Bakers Twine, Rhinestones, Matte Black Dots, Bumblebee Trinkets and a Basic Black small Dragonfly using the Dragonflies Punch. Use Dimensionals to attach the circles to the card front. 

The possibilities are endless! Use different stamps, inks, papers and accessories. Make up a batch and give them as gifts!

Champagne Foil Overlay

 Champagne Foil Overlay

This is a fast and simple card to make but very elegant. Die cut the overlay, attach it over some Designer Series Paper add a bow, sentiment and some bling! This design layout is great for a wedding card, bridal shower, birthday, Mother's Day or a sympathy card as I have done here.

I started with a Pretty Peacock Card Stock base of 4 1/4 x 11" scored at 5 1/2".

Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and adhere to the card base using Multi-Purpose Glue.

Cut a piece of Champagne Foil to 4" x 5 1/4" and die cut using the Potted Succulents Die overlay. Remove from die very carefully. I opted to not use the border around the die. Attach over the Designer Series Paper very carefully using Multi-Purpose Glue. A little goes a long way. *Tip- use a sponge, dip it into a small puddle of glue and dab it onto the back of the die cut. Make sure to protect your surface and not let the die cut move around. You don't want a gluey mess!

Wrap some Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon around this panel, tie into a knot on the right hand side. Attach this panel to the card base using Multi-Purpose Glue.

*Tip- if you want to attach this panel to the card base using Dimensionals, I recommend attaching it to a piece of 

 Basic White Card Stock 4" x 5 1/4" for added strength. 

Die cut a label using Basic White Card Stock. Stamp sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Attach to card front using Dimentionals. *Tip- when adding Dimensionals to a label that will sit over ribbon, make sure your Dimensionals are attached above and below the ribbon. If they are adhering to the ribbon the label doesn't "sit" properly.

Add 2 Gold Metallic Pearls to the Label.

Here is my creation for this weeks sketch challenge over at

Freshly Made Sketches.

Very simple but so pretty!

My card base is Smokey Slate Card Stock, 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".

I then cut three 4" x 3/4" strips of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. I attached all three using my Multi-purpose Glue. 

I stamped "Best Wishes" from the FREE Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, "A Touch Of Ink" onto one of the strips. 

On a scrap piece of Basic White C/S I stamped the flower and 3 leaves from "Prized Peony" using Memento Black Ink. 

Colour the flower using Petal Pink Light and Dark Stampin' Blends, the flower center using Daffodil Delight Light and the leaves using Soft Sea Foam Light. 

Fussy cut using your Snips. Attach the flower to the card front using Dimensionals, tuck the leaves in behind using Glue Dots. 

Add 3 Rhinestones and splatter some Wink Of Stella over the card. That's it! Easy!
