Masculine Split Front Card Technique And A Bonus Card!

It's great when you find a layout that you like then make a few cards using the same layout but change up the papers, stamps, dies, punches etc! 

Here is my masculine/kids/everyone design:

I stamped the turtle directly onto the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper then punched it out with the coordinating Turtle Punch! Isn't that paper pattern a great turtle shell! I added a cute bowtie as well.

Directions:

Follow the template below to cut your Designer Series Paper. 

*Tip: If your paper has a directional pattern be careful when cutting.

My card base is Misty Moonlight, 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".

After cutting your Designer Series Paper following the above template, attach it to a piece of 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Basic White Card Stock and attach it to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment from A Grand Kid Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink.

Stamp the turtle from the Turtle Friends Bundle onto a piece of the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper using Memento Black Ink. Punch out with the coordinating Turtle Punch and attach to the card front using Dimensionals. 

Stamp a bowtie using Memento Black Ink onto Basic White C/S, cut out and attach to the turtle using a Glue Dot. 

Add 3 Subtle Shimmer Sequins to the top right side of the card to finish it off.

Here is another version of the same layout and technique. 

I used the Color And Contour Stamp Set and matching Scalloped Dies to create this card.

The Designer Series Paper is from the same pack as the card above, Pattern Party. This DSP is a host reward that you can get for free!! Contact me for more details!

The card base is Coastal Cabana, 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".

After cutting the DSP following to the above template, attach it to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S then attach it to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Color And Contour Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink. 

Stamp a flower from the Color And Contour Stamp Set onto Basic White C/S using Memento Black Ink. Color in using Dark Granny Apple Green and Light and Dark Coastal Cabana Stampin' Blends. Once dry, add some Wink Of Stella to the flower. Die cut using the coordinating flower die from the Scalloped Contours Die Set. Attach the flower to the card front using Dimensionals.

Add some Subtle Shimmer Sequins to finish off the card.

My first Christmas card of the season!! 

I used the Merriest Moments Bundle with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder! I just love it when Stampin' Up! has coordinating products!

Don't you just love the beautiful holly and leaf die cut frame. After you die cut it, you place it in the coordinating embossing folder, run it through the Stampin' Cut And Emboss Machine and you get all this amazing detail!

Check out the pretty Subtle Shimmer Sequins! 

Directions:

Cut a piece of Evening Evergreen Card Stock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Die cut the leaf frame using Basic White C/S then emboss the frame using the coordinating Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. Attach to the card base using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Die cut a rectangle for the sentiment using the die from the Merriest Moments Bundle and Soft Succulent C/S. Stamp the sentiment using Evening Evergreen Ink. Attach to the center of the frame using Dimensionals.

This stamp set has great Christmas sentiments!

Add a beautiful Gold Shimmer Ribbon bow and some Subtle Shimmer Sequins to finish off the card.

Delicate Dahlias In So Saffron

  Delicate Dahlias In So Saffron

I made todays card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, click on the link to check out all the amazing cards! 

I used So Saffron Card Stock and Ink to create this card. 

I love the pop of the Calypso Coral Card Stock, the Basic Black Bakers Twine bow and the tiny little Basic Black Card Stock 
border behind the tag. Just that little shadow of the Basic Black C/S helps to make the tag "pop"!

I also added a small rectangle of "Be Dazzling Specialty 6 x 6 Paper" behind the Calypso Coral C/S sentiment. This gorgeous paper is FREE with a $60 order during Stampin' Up's! Directions:

I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of So Saffron Card Stock. Score it at 4 1/4". This is the card base.

Using So Saffron Ink and the Delicate Dahlia stamp, repeated stamp the flower all over the card base front. *Tip: This is a detailed stamp, you don't want to over ink it or you will lose lots of the finer details. 

Die cut one Basic White C/S and one Basic Black C/S label using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Stamp some Dahlias using So Saffron Ink onto the Basic White C/S tag.

Cut the Basic Black C/S tag in half horizontally. Glue the two parts behind the Basic White tag so that a tiny little border shows. 

Attach this tag to the card front using Dimensionals.

Cut a small rectangle of Calypso Coral C/S and using Memento Black Ink, stamp a sentiment. Attach this to a rectangle strip of the "Be Dazzling 6 x 6 Specialty Paper". Attach this to the card front. 

Tie a triple bow using Basic Black Bakers Twine, attach to the right edge of the tag using a Glue Dot. 

Try making this layout in multiply colors of card stocks and inks.
