It is so popular it keeps selling out!! It will be available again September 29th.
For todays card I decided to water color the sunflower.
I started by cutting a piece of water color paper to 5" x 5" and running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder.
I used my Water Painters, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Old Olive, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Daffodil Delight and Pecan Pie Inks.
*Tip: If you push down on the stamp pad lid when it's closed, it will transfer some of the ink to the lid and you can use that as your paint palette. Using these colors, I made sure my brush was wet and I started adding color to the image. I start off lightly then I can build up more color as I go along. After I finished coloring the flowers and the leaves, I splattered some Pecan Pie Ink very lightly over the image. I love this look! Once you are happy with the results, set it aside to dry.
After it dried completely, I attached it to a 5 1/8" x 5 1/8" piece of Basic Black Card Stock using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.
Then I wrapped some Black Bakers Twine around this layer a few times and tied a bow on the right hand side.
Then I attached this layer to my card base, Timid Tiger Card Stock cut to 5 1/4" x 10 1/2" and scored in half.
I stamped my sentiment onto Basic White Card Stock using Memento Black Ink and the Light & Wonder Stamp Set. After stamping the black ink image, I stamped the word "Love" over top of it using Timid Tiger Ink. Flag cut one end and attach using Dimensionals to the card front.

The card base is Darling Ducking C/S cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored in half at 5 1/2". Attach a 5" x 4" piece of Timid Tiger C/S to the card base.
Then I embossed a 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic White Card Stock using the gorgeous Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder.
I then softly ran my Memento Black Ink pad over the raised background side of the panel. The ink will mostly go onto the raised areas which are the background. Let it dry overnight. Or use your heat tool to dry quickly.
I then used my Small Blending Brushes and some smaller make-up brushes to add color to the sunflowers and leaves. I used Daffodil Delight Ink first on the sunflowers and then I added some Pumpkin Pie Ink. I went over it again with the Daffodil Delight Ink to blend the inks a little.
The flower centers are Pecan Pie Ink and some Pumpkin Pie Ink. The leaves are Old Olive Ink.
I attached the panel to a 4 5/8" x 3 5/8" piece of Basic Black C/S. I like how it frames the art panel.
Tie a ribbon around this layer. Using Dimensionals, attach this panel to the card base.
Add a Tiny Bee Trinket using a Glue Dot.
On a small scrap of Basic White C/S, stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment using Memento Black Ink from The Right Words Stamp Set. Angle cut both ends and attach using Dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed todays card and that it has inspired you to be creative today!
Happy Stamping and Creating!
