 Gnome Sweet Gnome Card

I think this card would make a great house warming card!

I used the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set and the matching Gnomes Dies to create this adorable card!

Directions:

Cut a Pale Papaya Card Base, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".

Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S and attach to the card front.

Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of the Pale Papaya 2021-2023 In-Color Designer Series Paper. Cut on the diagonal and attach it to the Basic White C/S layer leaving a small gap. See photo.

Cut a Basic White C/S circle from the Beautiful Shapes Dies.

Stamp the mushroom onto this circle using Memento Black Ink.  Colour in using the Stampin' Blends. The Blends that I used are in the Product List below. Add some Wink Of Stella to the mushroom.

Attach this circle to the card base using Dimensionals. 

Die cut an Early Espresso C/S straw from the Share A Milkshake Dies or cut one by hand for the sign post. Attach to the card.

Die cut some Evening Evergreen C/S grass using the Gnomes Dies and glue to the bottom of the sign post.

Stamp "Gnome sweet Gnome" onto a scrap of Basic White C/S using Memento Black Ink. Add a "nail" mark using a Black Stampin' Write marker. Cut out into a small square. Using a Dimensional, attach to the sign post.

Stamp a bird in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White C/S.  Colour with a Soft Succulent Light Stampin' Blend. Cut out and attach to the top of the sign with a Mini Dimensional.

Add some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to the card to finish it off.

Canada Inks Up Blog Hop!

Welcome to our team, Canada Inks Up! Blog Hop. This months theme is a "Sneak Peek" from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. This Catalogue starts on May 3rd, 2022!

I have used a few new products to create todays card.

Can you guess what the new products are? 

I started with one of the New 2022-2024 In-Colors, Orchid Oasis and the matching 2022-2024 In-Color Designer Paper.

Then I used a new Die Set called Blossoming Happiness Dies! The dies created the edge on the left side of the card, the floral panel in the center and cuts out the flowers and leaves from the matching Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper. I loved everything about this set that I bought the whole Suite! You can check it out on page #108 of the 2022-2023 Annual catalogue.

I also used the Beautiful Shapes Die for my sentiment. The sentiment is also from a new set called "Limited Edition" and it's stamped in another new In-Color called Starry Sky. 

I added some Rhinestones, a Brushed Brass Butterfly and the beautiful Glittered Organdy Ribbon to complete my card.

Now, onto todays card. I used Honeybee Home Stamp Set, it will be available on May 3, 2022! 

I just love those bees!

The sentiments in this set are beautiful and the font is so elegant!

Directions:

Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Daffodil Delight Card Stock. Score it in half at 5 1/2".

Attach a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Black C/S to the card base.

Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Daffodil Delight C/S and emboss it using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Decide if you would like to show the "embossed" or "debossed" side. Then attach it to the Basic Black C/S layer.

Die cut 3 Basic Black C/S hexagons and 3 smaller Basic White C/S hexagons using the Beautiful Shapes Dies.

On the 3 Basic White C/S shapes stamp a bee using Memento Black Ink. Colour the bee body using a Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blends and a Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends. Add some Wink Of Stella for some sparkle!

Glue the shapes together then attach them to the card front using Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White C/S, stamp the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. Attach it to a slightly larger Basic Black C/S strip. Flag cut one end. Attach it to the card.

Tie a bow using the Glittered Organdy Ribbon, attach it to the card using a Glue Dot.

Add some Iridescent Rhinestones to finish off the card.
