(New Post) Queen Bee Bundle

 Queen Bee Happy Birthday Card!

The Queen Bee Bundle has been so popular it was sold out for some time, but it's back in stock!

I think I used every supply I have to make this card! I tend to be more of a simple, clean stamper so I went all out here!

Directions:

I started with a Soft Suede Card Stock base cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".

Cut a piece of Very Vanilla C/S to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".

Rough up the edges of this layer with the edge of your scissors then using a Sponge Dauber, sponge some Soft Suede Ink onto the edges.

Stamp some floral images from the Queen Bee Stamp Set using Mango Melody Ink onto this layer. Then emboss this layer using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder.

Attach this layer to another piece of Very Vanilla C/S cut to 4" x 5 1/4" using Dimensionals. Then attach to the card base.

Stamp the large bee onto Very Vanilla C/S using VersaMark Ink and heat emboss using Gold Embossing Powder. Die cut out.

Stamp 2 small bees onto Very Vanilla C/S using VersaMark Ink and heat emboss using Black Embossing Powder. Die cut out.

Stamp "Happy" and "Birthday" using VersaMark Ink onto strips of Very Vanilla C/S and heat emboss using Black Embossing Powder. Trim out and attach to some Mango Melody Card Stock. Attach these to the card front. I used Dimensionals on the "Happy" and glued down the "Birthday".

Using a piece of Old Olive C/S, drag your Old Olive Ink Pad across the card stock a few times. Then die cut 2-3 leaf sprigs from this layer.

Attach these leaf sprigs to the card using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. *Tip: I cut them apart and I only used small dots of glue so some of the leaves are unglued for dimension.

Cut a 6-8" piece of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon, pull out some of the gold threads. Roll these threads around in your fingers to create a ball of threads. Add some Stampin' Seal to the card where the bee will be and attach these threads to the adhesive.

Attach the big bee over the threads using some Dimensionals on the bee body only so that the wings can be gently bent upwards for movement.

Attach the small bees using a Mini Dimensional.

Add a few Gold Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

For the inside I stamped a Mango Melody floral sprig and a Memento Black bee onto a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla C/S.

I had a lot of fun creating todays card. I hope you enjoy it too and that I have inspired you!
