Pop Of Colour

Pop Of Colour!

For todays card I was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. My card design is very simple. I just added some strips of Basic White Card Stock to the card base, cut a piece of the True Love Designer Series and had fun with my Stampin' Blends!

Directions:
My card base is Basic Black Card Stock, 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".
I cut 5 Basic White C/S strips to 4 1/2" x 1/2" and embossed them all using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Attach them to card base using Multi-Purpose Glue.
Cut a piece of the True Love Designer Series Paper to 4 1/4" x 2 1/4". Have fun colouring with your Stampin' Blends Combo Packs! I used: Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party.
Splatter this panel with lots of Wink Of Stella then emboss it using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.
Cut a piece if Basic White C/S to 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" and glue behind the DSP piece for added strength.
I also fussy cut a daffodil from the DSP and popped it up using a Dimensional. I love that "pop" of colour!
Attach this panel to the card base using Dimensionals.
 Add some Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
Using a Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend, colour the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon, tie into a double bow and attach to the card using a Glue Dot.
*Tip: you can use any Stampin' Blend to change the colour of your ribbon, Rhinestones, Bakers Twine, embellishments etc! Have fun exploring different possibilities!

Leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you!

Happy Stamping and Creating!
