Animal Outing Wild About You!

The critters in this set are adorable!

The card base is Early Espresso. I stamped the frog with leaves in Pear Pizzazz onto a Pear Pizzazz layer then embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The Basic Black and Whisper White pieces are die cut using Stitched So Sweetly Dies. On the Whisper White piece I stamped the Giraffe in So Saffron and the sentiment in Old Olive. I die cut 2 of the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and tucked them behind the art piece. A small loop of the Burlap Braided Trim is attached under the Basic Black Rectangle. That's the card front........now for the inside......

A cute pop-up Rhino is inside to say hello!!!

I also added another Giraffe, Frog and Leaves on the inside.

The Rhino is stamped in Basic Grey onto Whisper White Card Stock, and stamped again onto the Silicone Craft Sheet and very quickly place your Whisper White C/S onto the stamped image and rub with an Acrylic Block to transfer the ink onto the C/S. This is how to get the reverse image of the Rhino for your pop-up. I used Old Olive and So Saffron Stampin' Blends to colour the grass and bird. Cut both out. Attach a 1/2" X 2" scored at 1/4" strip of Whisper White C/S behind both of the Rhino's, trim off excess, the tabs face out and the score line is flush with the edge. Glue just the top of the Rhino's head and ears and birds together, add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to both outside edges of the tabs, position tabs right onto the score line inside of card, close up the card and let dry. When you open up the card, this little cutie greets you!!

Tina's Crafty Ink Spot has a great Video on how to do this style of pop-up, thanks Tina!!
